    Harvest Supervisor

    Job Description: 

    We are seeking a Harvest Supervisor to join our team in OWPPiN Farms  Ltd.

    Requirements: 

    • Relevant Academics and Professional Qualifications
    • Minimum of 3years cognate experience
    • Ability to meet harvest targets and on budget
    • Ability to relocate to Akure, Ondo State
    • Ability to prepare reports and communicate within teams
    • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
    • Ability to understand any and all safety requirements.

    Responsibilities & Duties: 

    • Performs harvest crew supervision and other duties on sites under the direction of the Harvest Manager/Consultant and other company managers.
    • Acknowledges and obeys all company safety and food safety rules and regulations, at all times working in a safe and legal manner. Ensures that workers are wearing all required personal protective equipment and all required farm safety equipment.
    • Arrives at the assigned workplace on time and in good mental and physical condition, directs and participates in and monitoring daily exercise sessions..
    • Oversees the harvest activities, machineries  and all harvest personnel.
    • Is responsible for the quality of the poles delivered to the plant and to customers. Relays concerns and adverse conditions or results to the Harvest Manager and other company officials as necessary.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Harvest crews, machines/tools and bulldozer and telescopic operators, farmworkers

    Accountant

    • Graduate with an Accounting degree
    • Must be a CPA or have a plan to be certified within the first 9 months of employment
    • Must be able to pass an aptitude and practical tests including building financial statements from scratch
    • 3+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing setting
    • Strong technical acumen
    • Must be able to work in Ondo State
    • Demonstrative ability to follow instructions
    • History of stable employment
    • History of professional accomplishments
    • Credible and positive references, which will be independently verified
    • Must have a guarantor for one-month compensation
    • Attractive salary and performance bonus potential for the right candidate

    Chain Saw Operators

    We are seeking experienced Chainsaw Operators that can work 5 to 6 days a week.

    Responsibilities:

    • The chainsaw operators would be responsible for the care, maintenance, storage, and handling of the chainsaw when on site.
    • Provide assistance to Dozer/Telescopic  Operators.
    • Operate equipment, such as chainsaws, and other equipment and tools.
    • Adhere to all safety rules and company regulations.

    Salary is attractive
    Qualifications

    • 2+ years experience in chainsaw use as well as have experience working around
      heavy equipment. In addition,
    • Valid driver's license
    • Must be able to lift 50lbs
