    Technical Safety Engineer

    A leading Oil & Gas company is looking to engage a Technical Safety Engineer
    Role location: Port-Harcourt

    JOB OBJECTIVE(s) 
    Experience is required for timely identification of HSE hazards, evaluation of risks for all activities and development of effective tools to manage and reduce these risks to ALARP.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Developing and implementing Technical / Process Safety programs to meet regulatory and Company requirements.
    • Monitoring and evaluating technical safety performance across all assets.
    • Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety and environmental issues.
    • Ensures Process safety and General HSE performance metrics are appropriately collated and managed for continuous improvement.
    • Provide and follow up risk assessments, HAZOPs & HAZIDs, audits, investigations, reviews, verifications

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 
    Minimum 8-10 years of experience having worked in an oil & gas industry serving in the capacity of a Technical Safety Engineer.

    Instrument Manager

    A leading Oil & Gas company is looking to engage an Instrument Engineer with Commissioning experience in the oil & gas industry.


    Role location: Port-Harcourt

    JOB OBJECTIVE(s) 
    Experience is required in developing Instrumentation scope and specifications for projects. To define and engage appropriate recommended practices, codes and standards to be adapted for the proper execution of projects.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Control all aspects of commissioning and start-up of instrumentation systems.
    • Verify instrumentation engineering and design deliverables comply with company specifications and applicable project instrumentation specifications.
    • Plan, monitor, coordinate and check instrument installation activities and procedures.
    • Ensure all commissioning data, documentation and handovers are in accordance with completions process and project procedures
    • Responsible to ensure that adequate care and maintenance / preservation procedures of equipment, issued by vendors, are being carried out and will be properly implemented during the different stages of the project.
    • Responsible in preparing material requisition and perform technical bid evaluation for instrumentation.
    • To prepare a comprehensive, robust, and practical plan ensuring that safe and efficient pre - commissioning and commissioning works are executed.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 
    Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in instrument commissioning procedures in the oil and gas industry.
