    Steel Detailing Draughtsman

    • To prepare workshop drawing.
    • To prepare a proposed BOQ backup drawing.
    • To prepare Bill of Quantity.
    • Should be able to price a prepared Bill of Quantity.
    • To forecast and prepare the program of work for projects.
    • To prepare the method statement for fabrication and erection works.
    • To represents the company in site meeting.
    • To coordinate the project from fabrication to handing over.
    • To prepare the interim valuation for the company and sub-contractors.
    • To prepare final valuation for the project.
    • To prepare material list for a project.
    • To communicate with client and structural engineer for clarification on project.
    • To take record of physical observation/measurement of new project, give report and implement the reading.
    • To coordinate with the Factory Manager on project activities, staff management and giving up to date project reports.

    Qualifications

    • BSc in Engineering, Architecture or degree from a technical college.
    • Experience: 4– 8 years as a draughtsman– with specification to Steel Fabrication Industry

    Note:

    • Proximity to Illupeju, Anthony Oshodi Lagos will be an added advantage.
    • Candidates who are willing to resume immediately will highly be preferred.

    Skills:

    • Proven work experience as a Steel Detailing Drafter or similar role.
    • Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (AUTO CAD) software, Tekla.
    • Familiarity with 3D modeling tools and Excel.
    • Good math skills.
    • Ability to meet deadlines.

    Mechanic

    • Setting and Alignment of Truck axles.
    • Fixing of brake system for a truck.
    • Servicing and maintenance of company generators.
    • Maintainance of Company machines & equipments.
    • Diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment, systems and machinery, such as values, motors, pumps and other equipment’s.
    • Reading and interpreting specifications and manuals.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess an FSLC qualification.
    • Good understanding of setting of alignment and truck axles is highly preferred.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

    Electrician

    • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment especially welding, bending & cutting machines, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
    • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
    • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
    • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
    • Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
    • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
    • Maintain current electrician\\\'s license or identification card to meet governmental regulations.
    • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and SCNL standards.
    • Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
    • Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
    • Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.
    • Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors.
    • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
    • Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
    • Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
    • Construct and fabricate parts, using hand tools and specifications.
    • Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of three (3) years experience as an electrical technician in a production/construction company.
    • Detailed knowledge of trouble shooting and detecting of faults on electrical equipments (especially welding,bending&cutting machines.)
    • Good knowledge of three phase electrical devices.
    • A background knowledge of auto rewire will be an added advantage.
    • Proximity to Oshodi, Illupeju will also be highly valued.

    ISO Document Controller / Personal Assistant

    • ]Sustenance of the Integrated Management System in the company by ensuring that all QMS processes are established, implemented, and maintained.
    • Assists in the ISO 9001,14001 & 45001 certification maintenance program.
    • Managing Clients contracts, relationships and annually reviewing current company client base by keeping proper client details & profiles, reconciliations, retention records.
    • Coordinating and managing internal and external ISO audits.
    • Developing and maintaining ISO documentation and procedures.

    • Conducting employee ISO training and quality audits.
    • Reporting and recommending corrective actions for any ISO issues.
    • Identify potential issues with documentation and provide timely solutions (close out where necessary).

    • Answer phone calls and take messages.
    • Draft correspondence such as emails and letters.

    • Liaising with various departments, such as account, store and technical department to achieve goals on time delivery of projects/materials.
    • Prepare certificate of completion on the completed project.

    SKILLS

    • Knowledge of ISO Processes, procedures, practices and documentations will be a major added advantage that will be highly considered. 
    • A self-starter, capable of acting on own initiative and proactively managing competing demands, pressures and able to multi-task effectively.
    • Must be able to work collaboratively, with a range of colleagues in the wider organization, as well as with external stakeholders.
    • Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic, oral communication skills.
    • Good level of numeracy and ability to analyse statistical and financial data.
    • Confidence in working with senior internal and external stakeholders at director and trustee level.
    • Well placed sense of judgment and political skills, able to exercise absolute discretion and confidentiality.
    • Evidence of an ability to “think outside the box” and generate and implement creative solutions.
    • To be able to work with versatility, meeting unexpected, very tight deadlines on occasion, being able to priorities as required and able to work autonomously.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • OND, HND, B.Sc. in Business or Public Administration, Social sciences & Secretariat studies.

    Welder

    • Tack-welds or welds components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment.
    • To take instructions from welder’s Foreman/Charge-hand.
    • To ensure that safety, quality, schedule etc requirements are met.
    • To partake in thorough housekeeping.
    • Cuts work piece, using powered saws, hand shears, or chipping knife.
    • Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
    • To ensure proper care for welding machine and tools.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with experience.
    • Ability to use various welding tools and fitting equipment.

    Note:

    • Proximity to Oshodi/illupeju Axis of Lagos State will highly be preferred.
