    Inventory and Material Supervisor

    Job Purpose/Objectives

    • To manage and optimise the Company’s inventory level and materials supply chain.
    • To ensure the availability of materials, minimize excess stock, and contribute to the overall operational efficiency of the Company.

    Job & Main Specification (Education/Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Required Details)

    • University degree with a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in inventory and warehouse management in an oil and gas environment.
    • Proven experience in inventory management and materials planning.
    • Good knowledge of SAP functionality and stock control system.
    • Detail oriented with strong analytical and leadership skills.
    • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
    • SAP Materials Management (MM) expertise and Master Data Governance.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage change and innovation in a professional manner.
    • Team player, with flexible attitude and approach to work.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete materials.
    • Collaborate with the Operations team to develop and execute materials and inventory planning strategies.
    • Provide regular reports on key performance indicators, stock and materials related supply.
    • Ensure that SAP master data is accurate, current, understandable and readily accessible to all.
    • Ensure integrity of all data uploaded in the system, to ensure elimination of duplication of orders / requisitions or double input of information.
    • Conduct regular follow up, through regular stock reviews, on all slow-moving or obsolete items.
    • Perform stock analysis to determine optimal levels and ensure appropriate level of stock is maintained to meet the user’s needs.
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, materials transactions, and supplier information.
    • Indicate potential stock rupture and ensure follow up with buyer and / or vendor to accelerate delivery.
    • Ensure consistency between SAP records and physical stock by ensuring annual stock counts.
    • Organize periodic physical inventories inspection to ensure that inventory reports tally with physical stock.
    • Ensure that stock accounting is valid and accurate.
    • Oversee the order fulfillment process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure that material requirements planning for materials is undertaken efficiently, to ensure the availability of stock materials to meet operational requirements.
    • Review and develop practical guidelines/policies for stock management in line with the Supply Chain Management policy.
    • Identify trends and areas for improvement in the materials management process.
    • Support users and other personnel for any query regarding stock matters and stock movement related to S4HANA system.
    • Advise on interchangeable materials and substitutes materials for issue from available stocks.
    • Lead and mentor the Inventory and Warehouse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

    Senior Compliance Officer

    Job Purpose/Objectives

    • To provide independent review, assessment and effectively manage a robust internal control framework across the company.
    • Principal resource responsible for accomplishing compliance objectives by driving a consistent approach to the management of compliance risks within the business.
    • Position the Compliance function as a value adding member within the Business Unit.
    • Act as Point Contact for the Managing Director & functional heads for all matters relating to Compliance, Ethics & Internal control Framework.
    • Committed to helping employees live up to company standards, policies and sound ethical judgements in their decisions, actions and behaviours at work.

    Job & Main Specification (Education/Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Required Details)

    • University Degree (or its equivalent) in Law, Accounting, internal audits etc.
    • Professional Certification in the specified field (will be an advantage).
    • Minimum of eight (8) years’ relevant experience.
    • Must possess effective relationship management skills.
    • Understand business strategy and objectives.
    • Ability to influence employees (including peers and senior business leaders) across the business to facilitate an effective internal control framework environment.
    • Must be strong-willed and firm.
    • Working knowledge and experience of Corporate Governance practices and their successful implementation.
    • Strong communication and writing skills.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Develop, Design and implement:

    • policies and procedures designed to facilitate the company’s compliance with applicable legal and regulatory obligations (“Policy Framework”).
    • a training programme including regular (e.g. annual) and new-starter training on the company’s policies, and ad hoc training on applicable relevant legal and/or regulatory developments (“Training Programme”).
    • a monitoring programme, designed to test management and staff compliance with the Policy Framework and provide written reports to the board.  
    • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, internal and external risk management in the area of UK Bribery Act, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Nigerian anti-graft/anti-corruption laws.
    • Lead country-wide Corporate Governance activities, providing coaching, mentoring and advice to management and staff.
    • Implement Group Wide Compliance program within country of responsibility and provide periodic report to the Group Chief Compliance Officer developments and identify/recommend process improvement to the Compliance Programme as required.
    • Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the company’s business activities and identify amendments to the Compliance Programme as required, to facilitate compliance across the company.
    • Monitor for compliance with approved Governance activities such as the Gifts and Entertainment policy, the Conflict of Interest Process, Interactions with Government officials process, Third Party Engagement Process etc. as may be approved by the Board of Directors.
    • Receive speak up/whistle blower reports and/or carry out investigations as may be directed by the Chief Compliance Officer and communicate outcome(s).
    • Provide country compliance quarterly report for submission to the Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors on performance of compliance programs, key findings and status of implementation of recommendations and whistle-blower reports.
    • Monitor for compliance with the UK Bribery Act, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Nigeria Anti-Corruption Legislations.
    • Provide management and staff with guidance on the Compliance Programme, in relation to business development initiatives, products and projects.
    • In conjunction with management, establish and promote a culture of compliance and integrity.
    • Support the company in developing and maintaining a positive reputation through the Compliance Framework, including emphasising the importance of compliance with applicable laws and regulation and acting with integrity.
    • Lead the annual certification process, training programmes, knowledge exchange sessions, creating cultural awareness and compliance through a variety of processes and practices.
    • Seek opportunities of participation & involvement in professional group/association as a means of driving professional collaboration, sharing best practices & driving level playing field within the Energy industry.
