    Automobile Upholsterer

    Job Summary

    • The upholsterer will make and repair vehicle upholstery for our clients.
    • You will be responsible for meeting with the client or design agent, selecting the appropriate materials for the job, and installing the upholstery to meet the desired specifications.
    • You may also be required to dismantle and rebuild furniture in which the upholstery has been replaced.

    Job Description

    • Meeting with clients and design agents to discuss upholstery ideas.
    • Interpreting design orders and creating upholstery stencils.
    • Selecting and sourcing upholstery materials.
    • Dismantling furniture for upholstery preparation.
    • Measuring and cutting leather or fabric with the aid of design stencils.
    • Installing foam and batting to the furniture framework.
    • Installing and repairing furniture webbing and seating springs.
    • Stretching out and installing fabric or leather coverings.
    • Stitching, gluing, and nailing fabric into place.
    • Smoothing out imperfections.
    • Conducting quality checks on completed orders.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of SSCE, Trade Certification in Upholstery making and or a relevant course
    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

    Technical:

    • In-depth knowledge of modern upholstery techniques
    • A good eye for detail
    • Ability to visualize design ideas
    • Strategic thinking and strong execution skills.
    • Knowledge of upholstery tools including hot knives, nail guns, and sewing equipment.
    • Ability to lift, pull, and manipulate heavy objects
    • Ability to translate the ideas of the client into high-quality furnishings.

    Auto AC Technician

    Job Summary

    • The Auto AC Technician will be responsible for the installation, repair, and service of automotive cooling air conditioning systems. He is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing Automobile HVAC systems.
    • He will be skilled in cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems. He will guide and advise the customer in selecting the most appropriate air quality system to fulfill their requirements.
    • He will be responsible for air quality systems from installation to end-of-life by performing maintenance, warranty and emergency repairs.

    Responsibilities

    • Installing, maintaining and repairing automobile ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
    • Diagnose automotive air conditioning system to ascertain the need.
    • Listen to customers’/vehicle owners on the service require and the malfunction history of the vehicle’s cooling system.
    • Install and repair the air conditioning unit.
    • Fix and correct any fault in compressor and evaporator sub-units.
    • Weld or bolt mounting bracket to automobile frame.
    • Measure compressor pressure to determine efficiency of compressor using gauge.
    • Remove and replace worn out or broken parts.
    • Make electrical connections as required.
    • Consult other specialist should their attention be needed in any case.
    • Report any error or abnormality to the customer through the Production Manager.
    • Advise customers on the usage of the automotive air-condition system.
    • Schedule service period.

    Qualifications

    • Trade Test, Diploma or OND / HND in a relevant course
    • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
    • Proven experience as HVAC Technician
    • An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
    • A good team player.

    Non-Technical:

    • Customer satisfaction and safety oriented
    • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
    • Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision-making.

    Salary Range
    N70,000 - N80,000 / month.

    Welder/Fabricator

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a motivated, experienced welder to join our company as a Welder / Fabricator.
    • As part of our team of professional fabricators, you construct and manufacture metal parts and products, taking particular care to produce clean, polished welds.
    • You follow blueprints, determine material measurements, and take responsibility for fabricating parts used in later assembly processes. You are responsible for the quality of your output, so you must be able to perform simple tests to ensure weld quality and tolerance.

    Job Description

    • Interprete and build from sketches, photos, video, or other media as assigned by Technical Director.
    • Lay out steel construction efficiently and with a high degree of accuracy prior to welding.
    • Measuring, cutting, and bending of steel components for construction.
    • Steel cleaning and cleaning supervision when working with scene shop interns.
    • Operation of one or the all of the following equipment; MIG welder, drill press, horizontal band saw, portable band saw, abrasive saw, angle grinder, roller bender, tap & die.
    • Participate in scenic transfers to and from warehouses, stores, and scape yards as needed. • Willingness to transfer to carpentry shop when steel work is light.
    • Participation in all show load-ins and load-outs.
    • Work in a safe, efficient, and organized manner.
    • Any other tasks as requested by the Production Manager.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma in a relevant course / Welder vocational training certification
    • Trade Test Qualification
    • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

    Technical:

    • General (Mig) welding, and brazing experience.
    • Ability to operate mechanical, hydraulic and metalworking equipment.
    • Thorough knowledge of automotive industry safety specifications and regulations.
    • Physically fit and able to operate heavy machinery.

    Non-Technical:

    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • Availability to work overtime when needed.

    Auto Electrician

    Job Summary

    • The Automobile Electrician will be mainly involved in installing and repairing electrical wiring, diagnosing problems with vehicle electrical systems, repairing damaged electrical parts, and maintaining electrical equipment for automotive machinery

    Job Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the repair of electrical and electronic faults in cars and motor vehicles. This may include replacing damaged or faulty parts where necessary
    • Perform routine checks and tests to verify the condition of a vehicle.

    • Provide information for job report and service log.
    • Advise the purchasing unit on the best auto electrical part to purchase.
    • Relate with customers in friendly way to ensure close connection to with company.
    • Always maintain a clean working environment.
    • Ensure that tools and equipment are well stored after use.
    • Responsible for the handling of fragile tools and equipment to ensure their longevity.
    • Liaise with the workshop manager on the way forward to a persisting problem.
    • Deliver excellent and top-notch electrical service to customer.
    • Suggest and advise the company on initiatives needed for growth and expansion.

    Qualifications

    • Able to engage in meaningful negotiation and resolution.
