    Accountant

    Location: Gudu, Abuja (FCT)

    Job Description

    • An accountant is responsible for managing and analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within an organization.
    • They prepare and examine financial records, reconcile accounts, prepare financial statements, and provide financial advice to support decision-making. Accountants also play a crucial role in budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintaining Financial Records: Accurately recording all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and payments.
    • Preparing Financial Statements: Creating key financial reports like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Reconciling Accounts: Ensuring that bank statements and other financial records match, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
    • Analyzing Financial Data: Examining financial information to identify trends, variances, and potential risks or opportunities.
    • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assisting in the development and management of budgets, and forecasting future financial performance.
    • Tax Preparation and Compliance: Preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
    • Auditing: Participating in financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 2 - 10 years experience in a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Excel).
    • Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.

    Legal Officer

    Location: Gudu, Abuja (FCT)

    Responsibilities

    • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and agreements, including vendor contracts, client agreements, and partnership agreements.
    • Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and compliance issues.
    • Research and analyze legal issues and regulations relevant to the organization's operations and industry.
    • Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and legal trends that may impact the organization and provide recommendations for compliance.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Manage and protect the organization's intellectual property assets, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
    • Handle legal disputes and litigation matters.
    • Conduct legal due diligence reviews for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
    • Assist with corporate governance matters, including board meetings, resolutions, and regulatory filings.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification.
    • 2+ years relevant work experience.
    • Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
    • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts and issues clearly and effectively.
    • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Experience with intellectual property law and protection preferred.
    • Knowledge of corporate governance principles and practices.
    • Familiarity with litigation and dispute resolution processes.

    Driver

    Location: Gudu, Abuja (FCT) 

    Job Summary

    • The Driver is responsible for safely transporting staff, clients, and company materials to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
    • The role also includes vehicle maintenance, record-keeping, and adherence to road safety regulations and company policies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, clients, and documents/materials.
    • Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off according to schedule or instruction.
    • Perform routine checks on assigned vehicles to ensure roadworthiness (oil, water, brakes, tires, etc.).
    • Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, both inside and out.
    • Keep a daily log of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
    • Report any vehicle faults, maintenance needs, or accidents immediately.
    • Ensure proper documentation of the vehicle (license, insurance, roadworthiness, etc.) is always up to date.
    • Adhere strictly to traffic rules and company driving policies.
    • Assist with loading/unloading of materials when necessary.
    • Support office errands and field assignments as directed.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
    • Valid Driver’s License and or relevant driving permits.
    • Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience.
    • Familiarity with Abuja road networks, routes, and traffic regulations.
    • Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic repairs.
    • Clean driving record and excellent references.

    • Polite and respectful in dealing with staff and clients
