We are looking to hire a Project Manager/Architect for our client, a luxury interior architect company in Lekki, Lagos.

Job Description

• Developing, organizing and reviewing building plans
• Preparing construction contracts for general contractors
• Interviewing and hiring contractors for projects
• Formulating cost estimates based on equipment, materials and labor requirements
• Ensuring that construction projects meet environmental, safety, structural, zoning and aesthetic standards
• Determining and scheduling different stages of the building process, in accordance to the client needs.
• Monitoring the progress of the project and ascertain whether phases of the construction process are in compliance with building plans and project deadlines
• After building completion, project managers may provide additional services for expansion and relocation projects
• Meeting with clients and stakeholders to discuss construction designs.
• Drafting building plans for commercial, industrial, and residential construction projects.
• Preparing budgets, material documents, and specification lists for client approval.
• Acting as an intermediary between the client and the construction team.
• Overseeing building contractors and construction crews.
• Visiting the site regularly to ensure construction adheres to state regulations.
• Ensuring the project remains on time and within specifications.
• Creating progress reports, time schedules, and revised budgets.
• Conducting a final inspection after the project is complete.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, design or similar.
• Architecture certification
• Portfolio of completed projects
• Advanced knowledge of drafting software including AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Ability to translate concepts into functional construction designs
• Advanced project management skills
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders on a daily basis
• Knowledge of construction costs and time frames.

Job Title: Junior Design Architect
Field: Design
Reports to: Lead Design Architect
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Salary: N80,000

Our client, a design/architect company in Lekki is looking to hire a Junior Design Architect to join the team.
Key Responsibilities    

• Create as-built drawing
• Work with the interior designer to produce a proposed design
• Create 3D designs and detailed working drawings (lightning plans, tiles, shop drawings, furniture layouts)
• Visit site daily
• Prepare and submit daily report to Creative Directors
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Creative Director.

Qualifications
    
BSc/HND in Architecture.

Experience: At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.

Requirements    

• Excellent understanding of building process, materials, detailing and sustainable systems
• Ability to think and create in 3-dimensions
• Ability to write specifications, and draw up schedules for required project
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Enscape, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs, e.g., Photoshop.

We are looking to hire an expatriate quality control manager for our client, an architecture company in Ilorin, Nigeria.
Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
• Formulate and set quality policies according to global furniture quality standards and legal regulations for quality control function
• Manage the production department and overall expectations pertaining to setting accurate schedules, costs and resources
• Work closely with the furniture department to achieve high quality of works and output on furniture manufacture
• Provide necessary definition, development and deployment of product quality assurance strategy
• Ensure that all drawings are in line with project scope, contract specification and the company quality standards
• Check supplied materials, furniture or equipment match their specified areas and locations in the drawings
• Maintain product consistency throughout product cycle, to include the design, define and build phases through quality checkpoints and testing
• Review product submittals against specifications
• Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements
• Approve the right products or reject defectives
• Recommend actions to correct observed quality deficiencies
• Responsible for the final handover of the project, till defect liability period
• Monitor the verification and follow-up of quality issues occurring at the production line and customer sites
• Keep drawing issues record and feedback to product engineering team on monthly basis to drive improvement
• Develop & implement the internal compliance
• Participate in annual internal audit as internal auditor to ensure that quality management system effectiveness is up to standard
• Compile and complete detailed reports on all product inspections, defects, repairs and return rates
• Submit a quarterly breakdown the failed shipments against the total shipments by source and factory
• Perform all other tasks as assigned.
