Job Summary

• We are looking for an All-star calibre experienced hire to join our Sportsbook Operations Analytics team.
• As a Sportsbook Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing various areas within our Sportsbook Operation, including Betting Demand, Player Behaviour and Profiling, Risk Management and Trading Performance, building best in class business analysis and insight tools and models.
• Your analysis will drive superior understanding and improvement of the performance of the Sportsbook Operations, in our effort to deliver customers the leading Sportsbook experience

Role and Responsibilities

• Analyse various areas of Sportsbook Operational performance, including Betting Demand, Player Behaviour and Profiling, Risk Management and Trading performance
• Set up and own analytics tools and reporting capabilities for the Sportsbook Operations team, including performance dashboards tracking to business Operating Plan and views into key Sportsbook KPIs
• Oversee the development of new technology, models and capabilities to solve Operational problems and drive data-driven business decision making
• Oversee Operations performance measurements including betting demand and profitably performance by Sport, Bet type, and Market
• Measure and report on offers and promotions, including free bets, deposit bonuses, and seasonal promotions to drive KPIs like active pay players and average betting handle
• Understand various player profiles in the Sportsbook customer base, based on behaviours, and further company understanding key LTV drivers that will unlock higher customer LTV
• Provide opportunity size and other analysis into major promotional events to help the Sportsbook team capitalize on major sporting events in the US, including Super Bowl, Masters, and more
• Support the Sportsbook Operations and Executive teams with ad-hoc analysis as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Graduate, IT qualification will be given preference.
• Minimum of 0 - 2 years experience in the Betting Industry.

Role and Responsibilities

• Understand sports betting customer needs and anticipate their future needs
• Monitor prices and manage liabilities for all sports betting events
• Make bet referral decisions, based on customer and market information
• Monitor and analyse customer activity and report findings to the Head of Risk
• Translate business needs into high-level stories/requirements for new to market features & drive incremental delivery of these features
• Understand customer behaviour, business drivers, help develop product strategy and business cases and contribute to the production of an overall product delivery roadmap that aims to deliver on the key business strategy and goals
• Liaise with internal and external development teams to clarify development requirements
• Liaise with internal testing team to ensure features are delivered as expected, including user-acceptance testing of new developments
• Interaction with key business areas related to Sportsbook including marketing, content, data management, CRM and trading as new features and ideas impact those areas
• Interfacing with Programme and Technology teams (and other relevant stakeholders) to garner respect in their decision-making and to ensure all are kept well informed of the status of delivery and benefits realization
• Understand business and system processes, have an eye for detail and have an ability to communicate solutions and schedules clearly
• Understand capabilities of the Sportsbook platform/s working with relevant stakeholders to optimise the capabilities and respective developments
• Research, define, recommend and implement digital sportsbook specific innovation of new technologies across the mobile customer experience.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Graduate, MBA / IT qualification will be given preference.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in the Betting Industry with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
