    Fraud Desk Officer

    Overview:

    The Fraud Desk Officer plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization against fraudulent activities. They are responsible for monitoring, detecting, and preventing fraudulent transactions or behaviors, thereby minimizing financial losses and preserving the organization's reputation. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:​

    • Monitor and analyze transactions, accounts, and customer activities to identify potential
    • fraudulent behavior.
    • Investigate suspicious activities or transactions, gathering evidence and documenting findings.
    • Collaborate with internal teams such as Risk Management, Compliance, and Legal to escalate and resolve fraud-related issues.
    • Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies, including the review and enhancement of existing fraud detection processes.
    • Stay updated on emerging fraud trends, techniques, and tools to continually improve fraud detection capabilities.
    • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on fraud incidents.
    • Liaise with law enforcement agencies and external partners to report and investigate fraud cases when necessary.
    • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information related to fraud investigations.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Proven experience (1-3 years) working in fraud detection, investigation, or related roles.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
    • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify anomalies or irregularities.
    • Knowledge of fraud detection tools, techniques, and regulations.
    • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Senior Sales Business Development Manager

    Job Summary:

    We're looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Sales Business Development Manager to develop and execute a sales and business development strategy to expand our customer base and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Nigerian fintech industry, excellent sales and business development skills, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and business development strategy to target key industries, including finance, e-commerce, and technology.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and acquisitions.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target companies, including CEOs, CTOs, and Heads of Payment.
    • Negotiate and close deals with new and existing customers, ensuring revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with our product development team to develop new products and services that meet the needs of our target markets.
    • Provide market feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
    • Manage and report on sales and business development performance, customer relationships, and market trends.

    • Identify and mitigate sales and business development risks, and develop contingency plans to address business challenges.
    • Lead and manage a team of sales and business development professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure their success.

    Requirements

    • 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, preferably in the fintech or payments industry.
    • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer bases.
    • Deep understanding of the Nigerian fintech industry, including market trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent sales, business development, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
    • Fluency in English; additional languages spoken in Nigeria an asset.

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience working with fintech companies, payment gateways, or API hubs.
    • Knowledge of Nigerian and international payment systems, including card schemes and mobile money.
    • Certification in sales, business development, or a related field.
