    Financial Reporting Manager

    Role Accountabilities

    Financial Reporting & Compliance

    • Oversee the preparation of periodic financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other applicable accounting standards.
    • Ensure compliance with all statutory financial reporting requirements, including local regulations and tax laws.
    • Coordinate and manage external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion and compliance with global industry standards.

    Internal Control & Process Improvement

    • Develop and implement financial controls and reporting processes to ensure accuracy, integrity, and efficiency in financial reporting.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and recommend best practices to enhance productivity.

    Budgeting & Forecasting

    • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial models for strategic decision-making.
    • Provide variance analysis between actual and forecasted financial results and recommend corrective actions as needed.
    • Stay updated on changes in accounting and financial reporting regulations and ensure the organization remains compliant.

    Joint Venture & Stakeholder Reporting

    • Oversee the preparation and review of Joint Venture (JV), partner, and operator financial reports in accordance with Joint Operating Agreements (JOAs) and contractual obligations.
    • Support partner reporting, cost recovery processes, and reconciliation of cash calls, billings, and joint interest transactions.
    • Collaborate with commercial, petroleum engineering, production, and asset teams to ensure accurate reporting of operational and financial activities.

    Team Leadership & Collaboration

    • Supervise and mentor a team of financial reporting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
    • Partner with other departments (operations, treasury, tax) to ensure alignment between financial reporting and business operations.

    Systems & Continuous Improvement

    • Champion the optimization of ERP and financial reporting systems to improve reporting accuracy, automation, and operational efficiency.
    • Drive process standardization and digitalization initiatives to enhance reporting quality and reduce reporting cycle times.
    • Participate in finance transformation initiatives and support the implementation of new accounting standards, reporting tools, and system enhancements.

    Minimum Qualification

    • A chartered accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA) with Accounting, Audit & Financial Reporting (Major in Finance/Accounting) background.
    • Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or auditing, with at least 5 years in the oil and gas industry or a related sector.

    Knowledge/Skills

    • Previous industry knowledge with minimum of four years’ experience in Financial Reporting with detailed knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and oil and gas upstream.
    • Oil and Gas Upstream Tax Laws.
    • Good working knowledge of ORACLE Accounting Systems, Sun Systems and MS Office programs especially Excel and PowerPoint is required.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
    • Comprehensive understanding of local Nigerian tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
    • Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
    • Proven track record of improving processes and driving financial performance in a fast-paced environment.

    HSE Manager

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Maintain an incident and injury free workplace, by promoting the awareness and implementation of Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures. 
    • Provide HSE consultation and support for Operations Team. 
    • Develop drilling/completion/production safety manuals and protocols for the company. 
    • Support behavior-based safety observation programs by coaching and identifying areas for improved safety behaviors and practices. 
    • Coordinate with contractor safety personnel to understand safety performance gaps and implement improvement plans. 
    • Prepare and submit HSSE related reports as at when required. 
    • Appoint incident investigation teams to identify root cause factors (Taproot processes or equivalent) when incidents occur, and ensure corrective and preventive measures are delivered as required. 
    • Communicate pertinent best practices, lessons learned, safety and environmental alerts to rig/operational staff. 
    • Plan, coordinate and manage all environmental impact assessment (EIA) and related activities as required on the Block OML11. 
    • Ensure accident and emergency procedures are properly documented & carried out, drills exercised in all instances, and that all necessary certifications are held by staff authorization to act within HSE requirements.
    • Review/Develop where necessary contractors' work method statement, JHA, HSSE plans, Bridging document, emergency response plan, HSE MS, HSE Cases, work procedures etc 
    • Participate and audit job-planning activities, including Permit to Work, JSA's and hazard recognition. 
    • Participate in facility Safety Committees. 
    • Conduct monthly self-verification reviews of key HSSE systems 
    • Assist the commercial, engineering and Operations department in their dealings with clients in all issues concerned with Health and Safety at work. 
    • Conduct safety audits of the facility & workplace periodically. 
    • Provide technical support to Senior Management on any safety related subjects. 
    • Provides safety support and advice, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures for initial contract start up activities. 
    • Performs HSSE Risk Assessment on facilities, and proffer mitigations.    

    Key Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or any related Sciences Degree.
    • Minimum of 12 years in a similar role in the oil/gas sector (Masters' degree is an added advantage.
    • Experienced in the use of standard MS Office software (Word, Excel and Power Point)

    Technical & Urban Planning Lead

    Key Duties and Responsibility

    • Lead integrated technical and urban planning initiatives in support of the Ogoni Re-entry Project’s field development and community integration goals.
    • Provide expert planning input into field development plans (FDPs), facilities engineering design, site selection, and infrastructure layout to ensure operational efficiency and community alignment.
    • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including reservoir engineers, civil/facilities engineers, construction managers, and government/community stakeholders.
    • Translate subsurface data and production forecasts into viable infrastructure plans that support long-term sustainability and economic development of the community
    • Align project activities with urban masterplans, environmental and social impact assessments, and regulatory guidelines.
    • Identify risks and propose mitigative plans related to land use, infrastructure development, stakeholder engagement, and community development initiatives.
    • Champion land use planning, resettlement strategy formulation, and right-of-way acquisition processes in compliance with Nigerian laws and global best practices.
    • Facilitate regulatory permitting and liaise with government bodies, community leadership, and relevant ministries.
    • Supervise and guide third-party consultants, urban planners, and engineering contractors working on technical design and community interface aspects.
    • Ensure all plans meet company standards, sustainability expectations, and reflect responsible oil and gas operations in a socially sensitive environment.

    Professional Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
    • Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Project Management, or Energy Economics is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in oil and gas upstream operations with significant exposure to infrastructure planning, facilities development, or community interfacing projects.
    • Demonstrated experience in field re-entry or marginal field development projects in the Niger Delta is highly preferred.
    • COREN, NSE, NITP, or other relevant professional membership/certifications is an asset.

    Knowledge & Skills Required

    • Strong technical knowledge of upstream field development processes including subsurface planning, well placement, facility layout, and surface infrastructure.
    • Solid understanding of urban planning principles, zoning, land use management, and regional development frameworks in Nigeria.
    • Practical experience in interfacing with community development, land acquisition, and stakeholder engagement in the Niger Delta.
    • Good understanding of regulatory processes related to oil and gas operations in Nigeria (DPR/NUPRC, NOSDRA, FMEnv, etc.).
    • Working knowledge of environmental, social, and economic impact assessments and how they inform planning.
    • Project management skills with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage timelines, and drive deliverables.
    • High proficiency in planning and GIS tools (AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, MS Project, etc.).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – ability to manage both technical discussions and community engagements.

    Category Specialist Production Operations, Maintenance, Engineering & Projects (POMEP)

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Support Category Strategy Development: Assist in creating and executing category strategies for production, maintenance, and engineering materials and services to align with operational and corporate goals.
    • Project Procurement Strategies: Contribute to formulating category strategies for projects, construction, and facilities procurement that align with corporate objectives and project timelines.

    • A postgraduate qualification (MSc/MBA) in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Engineering Management is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in engineering, production, maintenance, and engineering procurement within the upstream oil and gas industry.
    • Professional certifications such as CIPS, APICS/CPIM, or PMI are an advantage.
    • Experience with local and international suppliers, Nigerian Content (NOGICD) compliance, contract negotiation, cost optimization, and procurement governance is preferred.
    • Experience with ERP procurement systems such as SAP or Oracle and exposure to asset integrity/maintenance planning are added advantages.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Strong knowledge of engineering, production, maintenance, procurement, and relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Good cost engineering, commercial, negotiation, and analytical skills.

    Business Support Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    Operational & Logistics Support

    • Liaise with internal Logistics team to coordinate logistics for field operations, including personnel movement, accommodation, and equipment deployment.
    • Monitor and track utilization of vehicles, vessels, and logistics resources to ensure cost efficiency.
