    Financial Controller

    About the Role

    • The Financial Controller, or Comptroller, will undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, financial risk management, regulatory and financial reporting; budgeting and forecasting preparation; as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
    • The Finance Controller will report directly to the Global CFO and work closely with business unit managers, Heads of Finance, accountants, and bookkeepers.

    What you will do:

    • Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
    • Coordinate month-end closing process like prepare journal entries, monthly account reconciliations, report analysis, and bank account reconciliations
    • Intercompany eliminations of related party transactions and exchange rate and multi-currency transaction reconciliation.
    • Assistance in the preparation of the annual budget, sales forecasting, gross margin analysis, and standard cost development
    • Learning the functionalities of the software system (QBO) to understand processes and prepare reports
    • Research technical accounting issues for compliance
    • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
    • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

    Requirements
    What It Takes:

    • Advanced Degree in Accounting and CPA or CMA preferred.
    • 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience in a multi-currency environment.
    • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
    • Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close process.
    • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.

    Vice President of Operations / Chief Operating Officer

    About the Role

    • The Chief Operating Officer will help Lori achieve its goal of becoming the largest e-logistics company in global emerging markets.
    • The position requires a driven, thoughtful, self-motivated leader with strong analytical and organizational skills and a strong track record of driving execution through people management, structured processes and data.
    • The COO will be largely responsible for day to day management of the business allowing the CEO to focus on strategy, partnerships, fundraising, and growth.

    What you will do:

    • Implement and execute global strategy while leveraging technology and data to increase efficiency
    • Collaborate with CEO to exponentially grow Lori’s operational capacity
    • Collaborate with CFO in financial operations management
    • Work with the executive team to set targets & track performance across the organization
    • Manage Regional GMs and BD in reaching growth objectives
    • Lead budgeting and resource allocation efforts
    • Oversee talent acquisition and people training to building an A-team
    • Structure the organization effectively; build, grow and manage
    • Streamline cross-team collaboration for optimal operational efficiency

    Requirements
    What it takes:

    • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
    • 15+ years experience in management, operations and/or management consulting
    • 7+ years experience in high-growth or technology environments
    • Excellent project management skills balancing multiple projects and competing priorities
    • Excellent management, communication and execution skills, proven ability to build, train and lead teams
    • Strong analytical thinker who is data driven yet able to make decisions quickly
    • Experience developing, implementing and achieving KPIs
    • Experience with day-to-day operational finance
    • Tech-savvy, charismatic, energetic, passionate and inspirational

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience with leading mobility startups, digital company and/or in logistics (traditional and e-logistics)
    • Expertise in management consulting and banking

    Vice President (VP) of Product

    About the Role

    • The VP of Product will lead Lori’s product team and own Lori’s product strategy, processes, and solutions.
    • As a thought partner to the C-Suite and key product strategist, the VP of Product will develop Lori’s product roadmap to capture the market opportunity, deliver on executive goals and lead the team in execution.

    What You Will Do:

    • Refine and execute an ambitious product roadmap and strategy.
    • Lead all day-to-day aspects of product management, including supporting and coaching Product Managers.
    • Master Lori’s customers and their needs, the industry, and market dynamics across multiple geographies.
    • Identify new market opportunities and refine product vision and strategy.
    • Improve product development processes, product adoption and performance data visibility.
    • Design products to align with business strategy and deliver on stakeholder requirements.
    • Adopt and drive product excellence across the entire organization.
    • Engage closely with engineering leads to accurately plan and deliver on the  product development schedule.

    Requirements
    What It Takes:

    • BA / B.Sc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related Technical field.
    • 7+ yrs Product Management experience  in a venture-backed technology company (Series A or beyond).
    • Experience in Scrum/Agile/and  E-logistics/SCM/Mobility.
    • Record of setting and achieving ambitious goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
    • Validated ability to lead, coach and inspire teammates and colleagues.

    Bonus:

    • Master of Science or MBA
    • 2+ years of experience in a strategy consulting or banking environment.
    • Expertise in B2B, SaaS, FinTech or Data Science.
    • Experience across multiple functional areas such as UX/UI, mobile development, finance, and/or marketing.
    • Experience with Start-ups and plugged into the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
