    Finance and Accounting Intern

    The position:

    In this role, the finance and accounting intern will support the Finance team and be responsible for supporting the spectrum of work in this department.

    • Provides support to finance team projects implementation, guaranteeing quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
    • This is a great opportunity for those who are interested in pursuing a career within finance, accounting, sales planning and analysis, and other related fields. We are seeking interns with strong skills in reporting and analytics and working knowledge in Excel to contribute to the different businesses across the company. Interns will gain insight and knowledge of the industry by way of practical work experience, such as preparing budgets, forecasting, creating various models, and exposure to various facets of the business.
    • Assist in project financial and human resource management.
    • Supports follow-up on project financial auditing issues
    • Assist with reports, documents and different forms of media output.

    Requirements

    • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or economics required.

    Health Coach

    The position:

    • In this position, you will be a part of the team cohort providing direct (virtual and in-person) self-management support services to members, who face challenges with chronic health needs such as diabetes and hypertension via our innovative self-management model. Your work will frequently be hub and field-based, extending out in the surrounding neighborhood and community but there will also be a primarily virtual component as well.
    • You will be expected to follow evidence-based guidelines for care while contextualizing to the needs of the members.
    • The Health Coach will be responsible for members/ individuals and will work in collaboration with other members of a virtual team to help them meet their wellness and health needs.
    • You will be expected to respond to them asynchronously for the most part as well as setting up brief one on one synchronous chats.
    • The health coaches work with individuals and encourages them to take a lead role in their wellness by providing them with tools and support to make the right kinds of lifestyle modifications.
    • Along with the mDoc leadership team, you will cultivate an environment reflecting the values of mDoc Healthcare, including respect for our members and team members.
    • Providing optimal member-centred care and experience is of critical importance to mDoc so we are looking for people who embody this in mind and action.
    • You must be data-driven or willing to be data-driven such that you are looking constantly at your member needs, responding to them and also looking at population level data and coming up with ideas on how to drive continued engagement and adherence.
    • We are looking for risk-takers with a LOT of initiative who are willing to learn and grow with and add value to a startup company that wants to help people improve their health and wellness.
    • You must be someone who is comfortable with technology, working remotely and supporting your groups of individuals remotely as well as in person.

    The Health Coach will:

    • Provide support, lifestyle education and guidance to participants virtually and in-person and addressing their queries as well as motivating them.
    • Work with the operations and clinical team to understand population level data and make adjustments to the evidence-based curriculum.
    • Community engagement and mobilization through a multitude of methods
    • Work with community-based partners on shared initiatives
    • Research and compile needed clinical resources.
    • Support marketing and sales initiatives as subject matter expert.
    • Review data constantly and provide feedback within expected time frames on improvements or support
    • Pay close attention to tracking disease markers
    • Be required to use technology for a majority of the work
    • Take regular clinical and tech assessments to ensure she or he adheres to quality and patient-centred focus

    Requirements

    • Health coach certification preferred
    • MBBS or Registered Nurse or pharmacist or psychologist or health background
    • Master’s degree or relevant qualification in social services or health-related field preferred (nursing/midwifery, public health, psychology, counseling, health education, exercise science, nutrition and dietetics, etc.) preferred but not required
    • Expert knowledge of motivational interviewing, reflective listening, behavior change theory, and health psychology preferred
    • Minimum 3 years of experience working in health coaching, health promotion, chronic illness management or other clinical role preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to actively support, communicate, and teach the unique culture and values of mDoc
    • Technology savvy and enthusiastic adopter of work and personal tools. Must be comfortable with assisting others in using technology and working remotely
    • Passion for improving health care experience, outcomes and costs
    • Interest in reviewing and responding to patient and population health data
    • Fluency in English required.

    Community Representative (Ikorodu, Epe, Badagry, Balogun Market, Bariga)

    The Position:

    • We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Community Representative to join our growing team.
    • This role is essential to our mission of expanding access to healthcare through our NudgeHub™. As a Community Representative, you will be responsible for driving foot traffic and enrollment at our NudgeHub™ locations, promoting our comprehensive healthcare services in underserved populations.

    Daily Duties Include:

    • Develop and execute community outreach strategies to drive enrollment and engagement at NudgeHub™ locations.

    • Engage with local organizations, community leaders, and potential partners to create awareness and referrals to NudgeHub™ services.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Minimum National Diploma degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
    • 1-3 years of experience in sales, community outreach, or a related role, preferably in the healthcare or digital health industry.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales/enrollment targets.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence community stakeholders.
    • Experience using microsoft office tools
    • Comfortable working in diverse community settings and engaging with underserved populations.

    Manager, Non Communicable Diseases

    The Manager will:

    • Work closely with the Growth Lead on strategy, financial planning and execution of the projects.
    • Assist in implementation of project activities in accordance with the work plan.
    • Use Jira and other technology tools to proactively manage the team’s complex plans
    • Lead the daily huddles with the management team
    • Prepare administrative documents, collect and compile inputs to documents as well as analyze financials and develop budgets

    Manager- Health and Wellbeing

    • In this position, you will be a part of the team cohort overseeing the maternal health and NCD efforts at mDoc.
    • You will work closely with external stakeholders including government, funders, corporates and more. You will be expected to have great communication skills and a background in health.
    • You will be expect to provide supportive oversight to a number of projects ensuring the operations are seamless and helping to interface with external stakeholders in and out of the country.
    • Along with the mDoc leadership team, you will cultivate an environment reflecting the values of mDoc Healthcare, including respect for our members and team members.
    • Providing optimal member-centred care and experience is of critical importance to mDoc so we are looking for people who embody this in mind and action. You must be data-driven or willing to be data-driven.
    • Given we are a technology firm; you will use digital tools to work plan, manage projects track, predict our success as well as manage our members and customers.
    • Also, given mDoc is a startup, there will likely be some fluidity to responsibilities.
    • Location: Lagos is required because this has a signficant external stakeholder facing role.

    The Senior Project Associate:

    • In this role, you will be part of a team providing direct (in-person) support services, teaching members and potential members how to use our app and other digital health solutions.
    • You will engage with individuals who visit our NudgHubs™, attend our outreaches, or interact with our roving community ambassadors.
    • Acting as a digital shadow for the members, you will build their digital/smartphone literacy.

    Responsibilities:

    • Follow established protocols and guidelines to deliver effective tech support.
    • Support members in navigating and using digital health solutions (CompleteHealth ™ and NaviHealth.ai ™ platforms).
    • Provide personalized guidance and support to enhance members’ digital literacy.
    • Work closely with our members to help them understand and utilize technology to improve their health and wellness.
    • Collaborate with the NudgHub™/mDoc leadership team to create an environment that reflects the values of mDoc Healthcare, including respect for members and team members.
    • Ensure optimal member-centered care and experience, prioritizing the needs and responses of members.

    Requirements:
