Job Responsibilities

• Ensures business processes, administration, and financial management.
• Maintains accounting system and finalizes integration of new ERP.
• Leads planning and forecasting activities with business partners to achieve business and company goals.
• Reviews financial reports.
• Prepares financial forecasts.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting
• Monitors financial details to ensure legal compliance.
• Analyzes revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets.
• Assists management to make financial decisions.
• Supervises accounting, finance and IT teams.
• Investigates means to improve profitability.
• Reviews and processes payments of the company.
• Monitor customer credit and reminders to customers
• Maintains an accurate filing and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.
• Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business.
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
• Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
• To perform companies legal updates

Requirements

• BA or BS in economics, finance, accounting, economics, or related field
• 10 years managerial experience (experience in Nigeria or Africa will be strongly
• Financial modeling skills

Responsibilities

• Deal Origination & Execution: Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities through financial modeling, due diligence, transaction management, and regulatory compliance.
• Value Creation & Portfolio Management: Partner with portfolio company management to drive growth, monitor performance, mitigate risks, and provide strategic and financial advisory support.
• Strategy Development: Contribute to strategy design and review for the investment holding and its portfolio, oversee budgets and long-term plans, and track portfolio performance against benchmarks.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor investment professionals, set clear goals, foster collaboration, and drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including boards, investors, regulators, and industry partners.

Requirements

• 6 - 9 years of work experience in private equity / investment banking / venture capital / or strategy consulting.
• Prior experience should include responsibilities for research, capital-raising, origination, executing, negotiating, structuring, and monitoring of investments.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a highly analytical field including finance, economics, accounting, or engineering
• Graduate business degree, Chartered Accountant, and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations a plus.
• Outstanding academic record.
