Job Summary

• The field service installers would be responsible mainly for installing and maintaining KCG/MD Key Customer Group / Maximum Demand Energy meters.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, replace, configure, and commission KCG (Key Customer Group) / MD (Maximum Demand) energy meters at customer premises.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments before installation to ensure proper meter placement and compliance with technical standards.
• Perform meter wiring, termination, sealing, and connectivity to transformers, feeder pillars, and distribution panels where required.
• Test, calibrate, and verify meter accuracy and functionality after installation.
• Ensure all installations comply with electrical safety regulations, company procedures, and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, meter readings, and customer service reports.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other field technicians during project execution and emergency response activities.
• Support disconnection, reconnection, and meter replacement activities when required.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues, safety hazards, or suspected meter tampering cases to the appropriate department.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A technical diploma in Electrical installations and related field.
• 5 years and above hands-on experience on installation of KCG/MD meters, Distribution transformer, Feeder Pillar and panel connections.
• Good knowledge of connection of MD/KCG meter is an added advantage
• Technical School Certificate, NEMSA certificate or Membership of NECAN

Job Summary

• The Installation Site supervisor would coordinate the execution of the on-site activities at customers premises/site leading a team of field service technicians/installers

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate daily installations at customer sites to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
• Lead, manage, and provide direction to field service technicians, installers, and subcontractors during site activities.
• Plan and allocate manpower, tools, materials, and equipment required for site execution.
• Monitor installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications and company standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets customer and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise directly with customers, clients, and project stakeholders regarding project progress, technical issues, and site requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly field activity reports, including progress updates, incidents, and performance metrics.
• Ensure proper documentation of completed installations, maintenance activities, and customer sign-offs.
• Escalate critical site issues, customer complaints, or safety concerns to management promptly.

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• 5 years and above relevant experience in electrical, installation and electrical systems
• Good knowledge of electrical panel, distribution transformers, RMU, Feeder Pillars installations
• Good Knowledge of Key customer group (KCG)and maximum demand(MD) meter installation is mandatory for this role.
