Responsibilities

• Conduct the PPM/LLF jobs assigned to him as per the schedule and record then in the respective registers.
• Carry out the break down maintenance which comes up during the production activities on time.
• Carry out the scheduled calibrations and inspection checks across the plant during the duty time, to maintain a safe working place.
• Record and communicate all the activities carried out in his duty time in the log registers and to the reliever.
• Raise the purchase order for the spaces consumed/required.
• Record work order/work permit for all the jobs carried out in factory and adhere to safety requirements:
• 100% compliance to schedule and non-conformance clearing.
• The time taken to do the job and ensuring it is not getting repeated.
• Ensure no measurement system is overdue at any point of time, to have reliability.
• Recording of all the activities in the shift and communicating the pending works/important observations.
• Ensure no time plant is stopped for want of spares.
• Ensure safe working and 100% data capturing.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• HND. / BSC. Electrical & other related Engineering courses.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience.
• Very good computer skills (especially Excel, word, power-point, and access packages)
• Strong communication skills.
• Very good in handling numbers/figures.
• Ability to spot improvement opportunities fast.
• Good time management skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong technical skills.
• Good Financial analysis skill.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain: all gas generators and diesel generators maintenance/ air compressor, boiler and repair carried out without any delay if need arise.
• Prepare weekly/monthly energy report, KPI report, generators status report, and report as assigned by the superior to the Electrical Manager/Site Services Manager.
• Carried out routine maintenance on gas and diesel generators with my subordinate regularly.
• Servicing of all substation tripping unit and ensure all tripping relays have power supply (DC) for its operation etc.
• Maintenance and check list (PPM) of all substation’s transformers.
• Plant operations.
• Plant equipment’s troubleshooting and repair.
• Repair and maintenance of fire hydrant equipment.
• Monitoring of energy meter in all substations, repair and replace.
• All diesel and gas generators must be available for operation.
• Ensure neat and accurate record prepare, posted, and send at stipulated time.
• Prepare all generators for effective operations.
• All substations should be safe to work, and checking/inspection of al relays must be carried out.
• All transformers should be available for power distribution, maintenance and safety.
• Ensure planned maintenance for all breakers.
• Check/inspect all generators before operation.
• Ensure availability of spare parts for repairs.
• Ensure fire hydrant pump available al time.
• Prepare audit checklist and full participation of each group.

Required Qualifications

• ND/HND/B.Sc. Electrical Engineering & all Engineering related courses.
• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in related field.
