Responsibilities

• Inspecting the ambulance before each shift
• Reporting any needed repairs on the ambulance
• Assisting patients into the ambulance
• Driving ambulance as quickly and safely as possible to transport patients to the hospital
• Cleaning and sanitizing the ambulance and disposing of any medical waste properly
• Maintaining driving log, noting travel time, mileage, and service performed

Requirements

• Valid drivers’ license
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a driver
• Experience as an ambulance driver is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
