    Environmental / Regulatory Technician II

    Main Functions

    • Inspection, basic maintenance and testing of multimedia (air, water and solid) portable environmental monitoring equipment used in an oil complex including stack monitoring equipment, PID, FID analyzers, etc., maintaining inventory of spares for these equipment, record keeping of all related items managed by the
    • environmental team.
    • Environmental and regulatory technical support.

    Tasks and Responsibilities
    In addition to the Level 1 tasks and responsibilities, a Level 2:

    • Assist Senior Environment Engineer and Environment Engineers in their activities for routine environmental monitoring and environmental data collection.
    • Any other environment related activities assigned by the Sr. Environment Engineer and/or Environment Engineer.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Experience with an oil and gas company in the SSHE and/or regulatory compliance field, preferably related to a construction or extractive industry, project or other international construction with environmental, regulatory, socioeconomic, and/or health aspects.
    • Degree in Environmental or Natural Sciences, Natural Resource Management or with Technical, Science, Environmental Science, Technology (AS or BS) or related discipline, is preferred but not mandatory and technical field related to SSHE management
    • Understand basic industry project construction principles and techniques (upstream petroleum industry preferred)
    • Candidates should have good interpersonal skills, some supervisory/organizational talents, and proven ability to work in a positive team manner, hardworking attitude / commitment towards achieving project objective,
    • Self-confidence to instruct contractors/project workers regarding regulatory compliance and Safety, Health
    • Environment and Security (SHE&S) performance/ implementation requirements
    • Fluent (at a technical level) in the predominant in-country language(s); familiarity with English is desirable
    • Environmental, Regulatory, Safety, Health processes and Government Affairs/Regulatory Compliance and tool knowledge
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint for reporting; advanced user with Adobe for document management
    • Highly skilled and qualified candidate with experience in Oil and Gas sector

    Specific Requirements:

    • University Bachelor of Engineering / Science Degree, preferably in Environmental, Chemical or
    • Petroleum. A higher degree in Environmental Engineering/Management would be an added advantage
    • 5+ years relevant oil & gas industry experience.
    • Certifications in ISO14001, NEBOSH etc would be an added advantage.
    • Behavioral expectations: Strong Team Player, Good Communication skills (written and verbal), Good
    • Coordination and Collaboration skills, Good Technical, Problem-solving and Analytical skills

    Tax Advisor II

    Main Functions

    • Responsible for calculating, preparing and submitting tax returns.
    • Advises about business plans and investment opportunities. 
    • Provides guidance about taxation legislation. 
    • Streamlines and minimizes tax liabilities and liaises with the revenue, customs and excise departments, where applicable. 
    • Moderate to minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable on commercial or business subject matter expertise.

    Skills and Qualificaations

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field.
    • Regional tax expertise.
    • Financial experience.
    • Analytical skills.
    • Ability to translate complex tax issues into general terms.

    Safety Advisor II

    Responsibilities

    • Provide ongoing support to proponent organizations to assist them in implementing the Safety
    • Management System and in meeting safety objectives and expectations.
    • This support includes: assisting Business Lines in developing safety processes related to risk assessment and management, safety training, asset integrity, safe operations, contractor safety, emergency preparedness, incident investigations, etc.
    • Conduct field inspections of onshore and offshore oil/gas facilities, project construction sites, drilling rigs, and support facilities such office buildings, warehouses, and communities. This includes working with BL to identify safety concerns, formulate solutions, and develop practical and cost-effective corrective actions.
    • Participate in various safety studies/activities, such as: PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, incident investigations, compliance reviews, or insurance surveys.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
    • Demonstrated work experience in construction safety-related positions (including some prior oil & gas experience)
    • In depth knowledge of security processes and procedures
    • Proficient in use of computers and programs such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Microsoft Office
    • Read, write, and speak fluent English, as required to function effectively within a project team
    • Prefer prior experience working in a multicultural / multilingual, emerging nation, environment
    • Willingness to travel / live away from home for extended time periods
    • Demonstrated ability (through past project successes) to deliver excellence in project SSHE performance
    • Demonstrated ability to develop successful internal and external working relationships with emphasis on interfacing in a team environment
    • Must be fit for duty for a construction field environment (examples include uneven, unpaved walking surfaces, large structures that are accessible only via ladders or stairs, standing for extended time periods, climbing, bending, walking, reaching, and other physical demands)
    • Ability to work in harsh environments (examples include temperature and / or humidity extremes, remote locations with limited amenities) with changing priorities
    • Ability to set priorities and work independently in performing contractor services with an appreciation for company processes and procedures
    • No training will be provided (other than the company's specific safety standards and procedures)

    Specific Requirements:

    • Prior marine experience as a senior officer position - required.
    • Master Mariners license - required.
    • Experience in the company operations organization – preferred.
    • Have led a minimum of 10 (ten) Jack Up rig moves and support vessel operations offshore.
    • Have experience in performing rig inspection for marine related equipment.
    • Candidates without the above requirements will be considered, dependent on experience.
    • Strong culture of safety management system and zero hurt.
    • Expert knowledge of current large tanker applied mooring operations and best practices.
    • Strong knowledge of applied Operations Integrity Systems, specifically oi 8-1.

    SSHE Coordinator III

    Main Functions

    • Support Business Line Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) stewardship processes and portfolio analysis. 
    • Develop and monitor performance metrics to evaluate business performance. 
    • Support the SSHE Supervisor in managing the SSHE program, as directed by the SSHE Supervisor. 
    • Coordinate a variety of activities and be the point of contact for the Regional SSHE Advisors

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Develop Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) training on safety procedure, practices for the plant as well as contractors
    • Set up system for implementing the safety plan including hardware, software, data flow, analysis techniques and reporting format
    • Develop safety communication plan to employees and contractors
    • Design a safety incentive program for the
    • Coordinate the development of the Waste Management, Environment and Industrial Hygiene plan for the turnaround
    • Review Contractor safety plans
    • Part of the team to perform risk analysis of specific jobs
    • Implement the safety program
    • Compile SHE statistics.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
    • Experience in Construction Safety-related positions (previous experience within the group preferred).
    • Greater than 5 years experience in transportation and logistics safety best practices.

    Key Role:

    • Support Business Line Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) stewardship processes and portfolio analysis.
