    Engineering & Maintenance Lead

    Job Summary

    • A reputable agribusiness company is seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Lead to oversee its engineering, maintenance and facility-management operations.
    • The successful candidate will ensure the reliable operation of machinery, equipment and farm facilities through effective preventive and corrective maintenance.
    • The role requires a hands-on engineering professional who can lead technical teams, minimise operational downtime, improve energy efficiency and maintain high safety and environmental standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead all preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities across farm facilities, machinery and equipment.
    • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures and performance standards.
    • Supervise technicians and other maintenance personnel, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
    • Diagnose equipment faults and coordinate timely repairs to minimise operational downtime.
    • Conduct routine technical inspections and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
    • Monitor equipment performance and introduce continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Optimise energy consumption and implement engineering-efficiency measures.
    • Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, equipment histories and spare-parts requirements.
    • Support the planning and execution of engineering projects, installations and equipment upgrades.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare and present periodic engineering and maintenance performance reports to management.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering or a related discipline.
    • A Master’s Degree or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
    • 8–10 years of relevant experience in engineering and maintenance management.
    • Strong hands-on experience in the maintenance of machinery and equipment within agro-industrial, poultry, food-processing, manufacturing or a closely related environment.
    • Demonstrated experience leading technicians and coordinating maintenance activities.
    • Sound knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance systems.
    • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Good leadership, communication, planning and technical-reporting skills.
    • A strong commitment to workplace safety, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
    • Willingness to work onsite and reside in or relocate to Igbariam, Anambra State.

    Salary and Benefits

    • Salary: N800,000–N1,000,000, Net monthly depending on experience.

    Internal Audit & Control Lead

    Job Summary

    • Our client, a rapidly growing agribusiness company in Igbariam, Anambra State, is seeking a dedicated and analytical Internal Audit & Control Lead to strengthen its internal audit, risk-management and control framework.
    • The successful candidate will evaluate risks across the company’s financial and operational processes, lead periodic audits, monitor compliance and ensure that identified control weaknesses are promptly addressed.
    • The role requires a proactive professional who can recommend practical improvements, guide junior team members and work closely with management to strengthen governance, transparency and accountability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the planning and execution of risk-based internal audits across financial, operational and administrative functions.
    • Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to mitigate identified risks.
    • Conduct periodic risk assessments and support the development of appropriate risk-mitigation plans.
    • Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
    • Review the accuracy, completeness and reliability of financial and operational information.
    • Identify control weaknesses, process gaps, irregularities and potential areas of financial or operational risk.
    • Prepare clear audit reports outlining findings, risk implications and practical recommendations.
    • Track the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions with relevant process owners.
    • Support management in strengthening business processes, safeguarding company assets and improving operational efficiency.
    • Provide oversight, coaching and technical guidance to internal audit or control support staff, where applicable.
    • Maintain proper audit documentation, working papers and supporting records.
    • Promote a strong culture of accountability, compliance and ethical conduct across the organisation.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
    • 5–8 years of relevant experience in internal audit, internal control, risk management or compliance.
    • Relevant experience in agribusiness, FMCG, manufacturing or a related industry.
    • Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, risk-assessment techniques and internal-control frameworks.
    • Practical experience in financial control, compliance monitoring and business-process improvement.
    • Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder-management and report-writing skills.
    • High levels of integrity, objectivity, confidentiality and professional judgement.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple audit assignments and follow through on corrective actions.
    • Willingness to work onsite and reside in or relocate to Igbariam, Anambra State.
    • Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, CIA, CISA, CRMA or other relevant qualifications will be an added advantage.

    Salary and Benefits

    • Net monthly salary of N800,000–1,000,000 per month, depending on experience and competence.
    • Company-provided accommodation for the first year.
