    Electrical Technician / Engineers

    Responsibilities

    • Ensures installs conduit and pipes to the warehouse electrical wires and cables.
    • Ensures piping complies with Electrical codes installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
    • Ensures that all the electric motors are in good-working conditions and no loose connections.
    • Troubleshoot faults and carry out the necessary repairs/adjustments accordingly without much downtime.
    • Comply with all Health, Safety and Environment regulations.
    • Ideal Candidate should have related experience in point to point wiring of relays and controls. Neatly routing of wire and cables to meet wiring standard. Troubleshoot panels as required to eliminate wiring errors.
    • Communicate effectively and work harmoniously with other members of the staff team.
    • In the case of major electrical faults and problems, report to the Electrical Officer/ Electrical Supervisor.
    • Ensures proper connections and alignment of components.
    • Ensures no naked and wet cables are connected to prevent shock and short circuit.
    • Ensure all machine parts and bodies are properly earthed.

    Education / Professional Qualification

    • Candidates should possess an HND in Electrical Engineering / Trade Test.

    Experience:

    • 2-5 years experience in similar field.

    Technical Skill / Knowledge:

    • Ability to read and understand control drawing.
    • Knowledge of Domestic and industrial wiring
    • Cabling and commissioning
    • Installation of panel cable tray
    • Good knowledge of electrical symbols and circuit diagrams.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Teamwork.
    • Able to follow instructions and production schedules.

    Mechanical and Electrical Construction Site Engineer

    Job Summary

    • The site engineer should possess basic knowledge about the practical construction procedures in a site, along with the details of how they are planned.
    • This idea of planning and coordination will help him to have proper execution of the activities in the site with desired performance. A site engineer is very essential for a project.
    • The responsibilities of a site engineer are wide as he must provide sufficient advice and supervision when there are any technical issues, or for proper management and for the preparation of day to day reports of the construction work

    UNIX Engineer

    Job Description

    • UNIX System Administrators install, configure, and maintain computer systems and servers running on UNIX. They form an integral part of the IT team and respond to server breakdowns, user issues, and network errors.

    Responsibilities

    • Administration of Red hat Linux, Solaris, Oracle Linux environment.
    • Installation, Configuration & Troubleshooting of Red hat Linux, Solaris, Oracle Linux
    • Strong Knowledge on clustering and troubleshooting
    • Responsible for Technology refresh in respective domain
    • Perform user account management such as user creation, user deletion, modification etc.
    • Manage and create users groups as per Policies.
    • Monitor Server concurrent logins and connections for the Portal environment.
    • Monitor disk space, processor utilization, network utilization for the Portal environment.
    • Provide remote support for operating system installation and configuration when required.
    • Perform regular backup activities on the environment as per the policies and procedures.
    • Work with principle vendors when issues arise to determine the root cause of problems to provide work around or permanent fix.
    • Perform Operating System management and administration including patch updates, fine-tuning, access management, etc.
    • Work with security team to apply fixes, security policies, help with investigations and hardening systems.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar field.
    • Experience: 8 years of experience
    • Experience in virtualization technologies
    • Previous experience as a UNIX system administrator/Manager
    • Knowledge of UNIX and LINUX operating systems, storage environments, file systems and network protocols.
    • Derailed knowledge of UNIX principles, file editing, UNIX commands and file manipulation.
    • Knowledge of networking principles including routing, subnets, TCP, IP, VLANs and UDP.
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
