    Key Responsibilities

    Operations:

    • Organizes on site the maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility,
    • Assists the Planning Engineer with the resourcing and suitable planning input to ensure a quality preparation and execution
      of all Maintenance works.
    • With his teams assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC),
    • Ensures that COMPANY's HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as
      approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during preparation and performance of maintenance
      operations placed under its responsibility,
    • Manages interventions using the CMIMS and work packs provided by the planning team,
    • Reviews all intervention reports in the CMIMS (including those concerning SMC) and writes the detailed technical reports
      related to his field,
    • Monitors (and in certain plant – Operates) the functioning of utilities and all equipment placed under his responsibility,
      Takes part in daily, weekly and coordination meetings on SITE,
    • Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his teams and actively participates in this
      himself, leading others by his example,
    • Manages and Coaches/Mentors the team of technicians directly under his responsibility,
    • Is a member of the SITE emergency team,
      Carries out, at, any intervention within his field of competence.
    • Takes in charge the systems under his responsibility in case of breakdown until correct operation is resumed.

    Methods:

    • Identifies, in the preparatory stage of maintenance works, any delicate operations and ensures that proper studies of the
      risks involved are carried out before hand,
    • Identifies recurring corrective maintenance interventions, analyzes them and suggests improvements,
    • Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programs and, if need be, suggests improvements,
    • Warns support and planning teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts,
    • Keeps track of any backlog of work in his area of ​​responsibility and suggests corrective measures to COMPANY and
    • CONTRACTOR if this backlog threatens to become unmanageable,
      Suggests improvements and requests modifications.

    Quality Assurance:

    • Verifies the quality of his teams' interventions by frequent on-site checks and final checks prior to hand-back of large, critical
      or high integrity equipment to production after maintenance activity.
    • Ensures that the members of his teams have the qualifications and skills required for the tasks entrusted to them and, if
      need be, suggests corrective measures.

    Profile

    • The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:
    • Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years' study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent,
      10 to15 years' experience in the field of maintenance on oil and gas production installations,
    • A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations
    • Specific professional knowledge: CMIMS: SAP/R3.

    Electrical Specific:

    • HV & LV power distribution and control networks, HV & LV motor drives and Alternators, Inverters, high voltage cells,
    • variable speed units, Lighting networks, switchgear, etc.
    • HVAC Specific: All HVAC plant and controls (AHU's, Fan's, motors, Belt drives, All Refrigeration and Freezer room equipment and its associated controls), Good Mechanical Engineering Background, Operational experience in the operation of Utilities equipment.
    • Ability to lead and motivate multi-national teams,
      Takes a Pride in his work,
      Has the ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others,
      Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site,
    • Languages: English necessary (score of >> 3.5 in standard Total test or Bright test or 780 in TOEIC), French an advantage.
      He must have proven ability as a leader of small teams.
      Perfectly competent and independent in his own field,
      He must show common sense and an organizational ability.
      Natural authority, founded on his abilities and on the trust he has in his teams, is essential.

    Subsea Wells Superintendent

    Service Purpose
    The Subsea Wells Superintendent role is designed to achieve the following objectives:

    • Guarantee personnel and equipment availability and mobilization offshore to the rig & OIMR/ LWI vessels, minimal
    • NPTs during operations and HSE incidents.
    • Ensure that all operational requirements are proactively managed
    • Monitor SPS contractors' performance (KPI) for service delivery for offshore operations, equipment maintenance etc.

    Service Dimensions:

    • The Subsea Well Superintendent ensures full compliance with COMPANY's policies, standards, code of conduct, and HSE
    • requirements while providing operational leadership across subsea activities.
    • The role provides technical support to the onshore subsea/completion service base team and SPS contractors (OneSubsea, TechnipFMC, Exprotech, Diamould, Fugro-impROV, Halliburton, OAL) and validates subsea and workover operations to ensure well delivery objectives are met.
    • Drive personal and team compliance with HSE rules, company standards, and ethical requirements.
    • Provide supervisory oversight to the offshore subsea supervisors, while supporting the Drilling / Rig Superintendents to ensure safe and efficient operations and wells delivery.
    • Supervises up to 15 service contractor personnel per operation (up to 4 x offshore subsea supervisors are direct reports).
    • Support delivery of 8–10 deepwater wells annually through effective planning and offshore coordination.
    • Work collaboratively with HSE, FOPS, HQ, C&P, finance, logistics, and other stakeholders to ensure
      seamless operational execution.

    HSE:

    • Demonstrates personal commitment to COMPANY's EP's HSE Policy.
    • Maintains awareness of and ensures compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards.
    • Actively participates in Company safety awareness/initiative schemes and audits to ensure the contractors under his/her responsibility are compliant.
    • S/He is part of the on-site management emergency response team and provides technical knowledge
    • Ensures and verifies that a valid PTW has been compiled and put in place for each operational task, with all associated risks captured.
    • Ensures continuous reporting of safety and environmental concerns/incidents within his/her team.
    • Is certified (IWCF) and contributes to the prevention of COMPANY's biggest industrial risk (Loss of well control/well blow out)
    • Acts as the Focal point for Safety, technical and operational/maintenance for all subsea activities (including but not
      limited to SERS/WERP & BOCP procedure updates) at ONSHORE OFFICE LOCATION

    Service Content:

    • Focal point for all offshore operations and provide support to Onne Subsea Superintendent and completion Engineer for
      onshore preparatory aspects that impact upon readiness, maintenance, and mobilization of personnel/equipment to the
      rig, OIMR & LWI vessels (based on up-to-date operational schedules).

    Profile
    Continue on Service Content:

    • Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Risk Assessments (RA) for activities and ensure that supervisors
      promptly
    • Submit and file A3 reports / non-conformance reports / close out reports for RCAs and operational RAs. The role will also
      ensure that necessary actions are taken to prevent reoccurrence.
    • Facilitate post-operational debrief sessions and log lessons learned arising from operational activities for
      continually improving performance (ie, minimize NPT, reinforce best practices etc.).
    • Participate in engineering scopes for well construction activities i.e., maintenance and availability of tools and equipment, operational programs, reviews (for HAZID/HAZOPs, Well-on-Paper exercises etc.), and accurate reporting.
    • Prepare and participate in contractor audits – HSE, SCM, and SQM activities and propose ways of continually minimizing costs, enabling higher quality, and improving performance.
    • Maintain good technical interface with other entities – HQ, HSE, Assets, Drilling, Well Integrity Group, and GSR for business and operational requirements.
    • Ensure that offshore Work Instructions, Management of Change (MoC), and the issuance of Well Handover & End of Well Reports (Short and Long) are correctly developed and submitted on time.
    • Drives a LEAN, 3C, cost rationalization and continuous improvement culture throughout the well delivery cycle
    • Interface with DW Stock control to ensure proper tracking of materials and spares under COMPANY'S custody and control, related to CONTRACTOR Base activities.
    • Procurement process in line with budget and operational requirements, and related administration/reporting/tracking.
    • Cost follow up and reporting to each DW technical entity on budget line/Call Off expenditures.
    • Proper spares management implementation by Contractor (storage, segregation, inventory, robust obsolescence management etc.) to ensure operation and maintenance tasks are executed as scheduled.
    • Support technical aspect (interface engineering, logistics support, offshore operation/deployment) of the GoG EDP/LRP/SERS & Subsea dispersants including preparation for BOCP procedures for rig & LWIV operations

    Qualifications/Experience Required 

    • Technical degree (B.Sc./HND) Engineering
    • > 10 years' experience in Subsea production systems with QA/QC, manufacturing & testing with deep water project and contractor
      management experience
    • Operational experience in subsea wells discipline (Drilling & Completions Métier), and knowledge of managing contracts.
    • Excellent team spirit and ability to work in a diverse team of professionals.
    • Individual must be adaptable and proactive, with a methodical mindset.
    • Must be able to coach or drive others towards delivering expected outcomes through clear explanation and persistently
    • Communicating the benefits and importance of the deliverables.
    • Computer skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications
    • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
