Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable driver to engage with all transport-related duties on behalf of the company. The company driver’s responsibilities include pickup and delivery of products to customers’ locations and maintaining a travel log to record work hours, travel time and locations travelled to. You should also be able to perform routine checks on the company vehicle.

Our ideal driver would ensure that all transportation duties are carried out on time and have adequate knowledge of routes within Lagos. Ultimately, the driver should be able to ensure that addresses and other transportation details are correct before undertaking any pick-up or drop-off duties. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely transporting company products and other items and materials to and from specified locations on time.

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of products, and materials.

• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.

• Promptly inform the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.

• Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking to avoid towing.

• Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.

• Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings.

• Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.

Job Requirement 

• SSCE or National diploma

• Valid driver’s licence.

• Clean driving record of at least 3 years. 

• Proven experience as a Driver with a manufacturing company or logistics company is preferred. 

• Sound knowledge of regulations by different road and transport agencies such as FRSC, VIO, LASTMA, TASKFORCE etc. 

• Street smartness and working knowledge of local roads and routes within Lagos State. 

• Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage

• A polite and professional disposition

• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)

• The ability to utilise google maps and other navigation tools.

• Effective communication skills.

• Punctual and reliable.

Reports to:               Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The role requires a very detailed individual with strong analytical and monitoring skills. The ideal candidate for this role should have vast experience in furniture manufacturing

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out quality assessment measures of all the products ready to be shipped and incoming raw materials 

• Take a thorough look, job cards, to understand the product requirements and ensure finished goods conform to these requirements

• Reject all the incoming raw materials that fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department at the earliest

• Resolving quality-related issues adhering to deadlines

• Providing training to the production team on quality issues

• Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records

• Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met

• Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product

• Monitor customer satisfaction levels

Job Requirement 

•  Diploma/Degree in any related field but preferably in Interior Design, Architecture, or Engineering 

• Ability to use basic Microsoft office packages most especially Microsoft Excel.

• 1-3 year experience in furniture industry

• Technical knowledge on carpentry, upholstery and spraying is an advantage
