Driver at GW Support

An Agribusiness in Igbariam, Anambra State is looking for a driver for the safe transportation of staff, agricultural inputs, produce, equipment, and other company materials while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.                                                

Key Responsibilities 

• Safely transport staff, farm produce, agricultural inputs, and equipment as required. 
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any faults or maintenance needs promptly. 
• Ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained. 
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance activities. 
• Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures. 
• Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary. 
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of goods and materials. 
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while carrying out assigned duties. 

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification. 
• Valid Nigerian Driver's License. 
• 1 – 3 years of proven driving experience. 
• Good knowledge of road networks within Anambra State and neighbouring states is an advantage. 
• Ability to operate different vehicle types, including pick-up trucks and light-duty commercial vehicles. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and punctuality. 
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Igbariam or nearby communities. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience working with an agribusiness, FMCG, logistics, or related organization. 
• Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle troubleshooting.
