• We are seeking an experienced Deposit Mobilization Officer to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for mobilizing deposits and investments from individual and corporate leads, identifying new business opportunities, expanding the business network, and building relationships with existing customers to grow the bank’s deposit portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Mobilize financial deposits from individual and corporate customers
• Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with existing customers
• Grow deposit portfolios through effective sales and marketing strategies
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about market trends
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and partners
• Meet and exceed deposit mobilization targets
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Ensure SOP on KYC is duly followed in all transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, Higher National Diploma in a relevant field
• 3+ years of experience in deposit mobilization and HNI transactions in the Financial Sector.
• Proven track record of achieving deposit and investment targets
• Strong understanding of financial products and services
• Excellent communication, sales, and marketing skills
• Ability to build relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

About the Role

• We are seeking a proactive and result-driven Loan Recovery Officer with a loan recovery experience from a Microfinance Bank to join our microfinance bank.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing delinquent accounts, ensuring effective loan recovery, and handling legal processes related to debt enforcement while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up on overdue loan accounts to ensure timely recovery.
• Initiate and execute recovery strategies, including negotiations, restructuring, and settlements.
• Prepare and review legal documentation related to loan recovery.
• Liaise with external solicitors, law enforcement agencies, and regulatory bodies when necessary.
• Handle litigation processes and represent the organization in recovery-related legal matters (where applicable).
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant financial/legal regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on recovery activities.
• Advise management on legal risks associated with loan recovery and debt enforcement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B); BL qualification is an added advantage.
• 3–5 years experience in loan recovery, debt collection, or legal practice (preferably in a financial institution).
• Strong knowledge of debt recovery laws and financial regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and meet recovery targets.
