Due to expansion, they are in need of a DELIVERY OFFICER

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning routes and load scheduling for multi-drop deliveries.
• Booking in deliveries and liaising with customers.
• Allocating and recording resources and movements on the transport planning system.
• Ensuring all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicating effectively with clients and responding to their requirements.
• Booking sub-contractors and ensuring they deliver within agreed terms.

Job Requirements:

• A degree in any social science or related  field
• 1-2 years of Experience in customer service, leadership, and logistics may be advantageous.
• Good computer skills and the ability to use business support software.
• Strong customer service, project management, and quality control skills.
• Excellent leadership and customer service skills.

Requirements

• Sourcing the materials to be used for the project.
• Measuring and cutting materials to specifications.
• Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together.
• Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
• Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
• Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE.
• A minimum of 2 years experience as a welder.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of various welding techniques.
• Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
