    Credit Analyst

    Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
    Department: Risk Management - Credit Analysis and Processing
    Reports to: Head, Credit Analysis and Processing

    Job Summary

    • Ensure customers application are approved in line with agreed TAT
    • Appraises risk asset applications and subjecting them to credit analysis identifying potential risks and advising Management of corrective actions to be taken to minimize credit losses
    • Ensure adherence to Bank’s credit policies and processes.

    Job Description

    • Appraise and approve all SME and Microcredit loan applications
    • Monitor the portfolio to ensure a healthy portfolio is maintained at 3% PAR
    • Ensure lending assets for approval are within parameters
    • Contact liaison with sales team to ensure conformity with credit policy and training
    • Ensure that work flow is consistent with credit approval to achieve high portfolio standard
    • Develop and implement procedure and processes for fraud prevention management
    • Monitor/ report exposure and assess current and potential risk and assist management in developing prevention strategies
    • Conduct credit checks and other verifications on consumer customers
    • Regularly analyse concentration risk of loan protfolio and advise management accordingly
    • Monthly and quarterly reporting of performance of loan customers to credit bureau
    • Analyse and report on portfolio characteristics, assisting in product development geared towards managing inherent credit risks in bank’s products.

    Accountabilities

    • Adherence to credit approval process

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of B.Sc. in any Social Science discipline (Business Administration, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Economics or related courses).
    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years in Credit Analyst Role
    • Experience with reviewing SME and Microcredit transactions
    • Professional certification will be an added advantage

    Relationship Officer - SME

    Department: Sales
    Reports to: Team Lead, Sales

    Job Description

    • Sell loans to SME Customers
    • Deposit mobilization
    • Create a robust sales lead generation pipeline
    • Conversion of leads to sales
    • Meeting sale target
    • Develop prospects from current clients referral leads
    • Digital marketing
    • Ensure prompt service delivery and maintaining an acceptable turnaround and time
    • Advise clients on new products and services
    • Receive feedback from clients of financial needs and areas of improvement
    • Provide financial advice
    • Ensure follow up with clients on repayment, daily coordination of marketing activities
    • Give support to team lead and sales supervisors

    Accountabilities:

    Qualifications

    • HND / B.Sc. in Social Sciences or any relevant field

    • Minimum of 2 - 3 Microfinance banking experience

    • Customer retention: Percentage of cross-sell and renewals against customer base
    • Customer Complaints <=1: Refers to the number of complaints received from customer
