    Core Manager

    The key purpose of this role is to lead and manage the overall functioning and performance of the Tier 1& 2 Logistics Planning and Expediting Department (CORE team) against stringent operational and resourcing objectives. The CORE (Centre of Routing Excellence) team is responsible to assist DC’s to meet top line business objectives through effective and efficient daily delivery routing.

    Key roles and responsibilities (Related to both T1 and T2 Transport):

    • Overall responsible for the implementation of the BU Territory Planning and Distribution Service Package objectives.
    • Develop and implement necessary actions in support of business strategy and top line goals
    • Manage expenditure against the budget (VLC) with monthly latest estimate (LE) align to period phasing
    • Review and feedback on planned execution in a manner that progressively improves own efficiency and enables improved performance
    • Responsible for the T1 and T2 planner performance, tracking and course-correcting against agreed KPI’s
    • To ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 93 and municipal bi-laws.
    • Overall accountable for providing strong safety leadership
    • Maintain healthy relationships with DC teams across the country and adherence to established interaction routines.
    • Leverage information systems -Implement system back-up procedures and regularly test Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to ensure 100% up-time
    • Responsible for sustainable process roll out as stipulated in internal Logistics Centralized Process handbooks
    • To drive the DPO Delivery pillar roll out and develop standards aligned to not only the DPO requirements but to the local legislations.
    • Problem-solving techniques used to determine the root cause of problems,
    • identify and develop solutions, and resolve issues.
    • Peak resource planning insights, for budget consideration and contingency planning
    • To manage internal self-audits and ensure all audit findings are closed
    • To ensure Fleet and Customer master data management and accuracy on all Routing Tools
    • Ensure optimal resourcing to deliver on business requirements and to entrench the customer service offering
    • Lead and manage the team for performance. Ensure that self and team performance are evaluated against goals

    Profile

    • Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification
    • 3–5 years Planning / Routing / Customer Service work experience in FMCG environment
    • Applicable Occupational Health and Safety Act  Road Traffic Act and governance knowledge
    • Business and Financial acumen
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP experience
    • Strong analytical ability demonstrated
    • Good performance track record

    CNC Operator

    The key purpose for this role is to implement, entrench and improve the application.

    Key outputs and responsibilities:

    • Establish & maintain high standards of safety & 5s in a workshop environment.
    • Interpret Manufacturing drawings.
    • Able to program CNC machines & produce G-code (Manual & MasterCAM or similar).
    • Implement proper workflow systems to streamline production output.
    • Prepare, set and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling & turning.
    • Supervise the machines while they execute tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce better results.
    • Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements.
    • Drive cost savings initiatives in a workshop environment by reducing waste & prolonging tool life.
    • Participate in Root cause and component failure analysis.
    • Participate in design reviews to improve product designs.
    • Check, clean & maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.

    Profile:

    • Min – HND/B.SC in Mechanical or Equivalent Engineering
    • Prior Engineering workshop experience, operating CNC machinery.
    • A minimum of 5 years fabrication experience using FANUC controls
    • Experience in using CAD/CAM software, Autodesk Inventor would be advantageous
    • A superior performance track record
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to manage complex projects of a significant number
    • High level of resilience and ability to operate in a high-pressure environment

    Environment Operator

    The key purpose of this role is to operate the Biological Treatment System (BTS) plant and the execution of quality control checks and analyses, including coaching of other team members and supporting the Process Artisan in carrying out asset care activities.

    Key outputs and responsibilities:

    Shift Based Production, Performance and Processes

    • Interpret and implement plan for shift
    • Monitor processes on shift for the BTS, WTP and Water abstraction plant
    • Ensure process quality and productivity
    • Ensure and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
    • Co-ordinate autonomous maintenance and cleaning
    • Achieve BTS PTS compliance targets Comply with VPO safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, and legislation
    • Maintain safety and housekeeping standards

    Specialist Analysis

    • Carry out specialized and highly specialized quality analyses for which the shift-based teams are responsible
    • Record the results of analyses on appropriate information systems and communicate results where required
    • Conduct analysis of results to identify problems and improvement opportunities timeously
    • Assist the shift-based teams in the execution of quality analysis, where required.

    Quality Auditing

    • Conduct required and requested quality audits, completing the appropriate documentation, and communicating the results
    • Review quality analysis procedures of shift-based teams, identifying problems or training needs and communicating these to the team leader
    • Conduct regular audits of calibration procedures of shift-based production teams and communicating results
    • Conduct audits of analytic procedures to ensure compliance with COT guidelines, and identifying corrective actions required
    • Where required, initiate corrective actions coming out of the quality audits in areas that impact the laboratory. Communicate effectively in teams
    • Contribute to self and team development

    Problem Solving

    • Support the shift-based production teams in problem solving, providing specialist assistance and techniques
    • Coach, mentor and assist shift-based production teams on problem solving and correct use of problem-solving techniques
    • Backlog

    Continuous Improvement

    • Carry out specialized analyses in support of the evaluation of continuous improvement opportunities
    • Determine additional analytical work required evaluating continuous improvement opportunities
    • Take part in regional and divisional process optimization initiatives as required

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Minimum of B.Sc/HND or Equivalent in Engineering/ Environmental Health Management
    • Minimum of 2 years in an FMCG Environment

    Global Risk Management Manager, Africa

    The key purpose of this role is for the Global Risk Management Director for Africa to be responsible for leading the development and implementation of risk management and internal audit strategies for the AB InBev's operations in Africa. This includes identifying, assessing, and mitigating all material risks to the company's operations, assets, and reputation.     Profile:

    • Master's degree in risk management, finance, or a related field
    • 10+ years of experience in finance, risk management and internal audit, preferably in the African market
    • Strong understanding of risk management and internal audit principles and practices
    • Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
