Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining an electronic archive of important documents. Incorporate current electronic information storage technology.
• Documenting and storing waybills, payment vouchers, receipts, and sales invoices.
• Monitor the serial arrangement of documents in order to identify missing ones.
• Store all documents in a manner that will keep them from becoming damaged over a long period of time.
• Managing and monitoring all incoming and outgoing organizational files
• Creating and maintaining Fixed Asset Files for all the company’s major assets (office equipment, furniture, fittings, plant machinery, vehicles, land, and buildings)
• Comply rigidly with the approved process for giving out and retrieving assets and make an electronic copy of all processed Asset Holding Forms.
• Ensure that all assets with staff have been processed with an Asset Holding Form.
• Maintain an accurate Stationery Disbursement Register to monitor the rate of stationery consumption in each department.
• The Archivist is responsible for keeping all the marketing materials of the company
• The Archivist is responsible for preparing stock cards for all items in each store.

Requirements

• ND / NCE in any related course
• Three (3) years working experience as an Archivist or a similar role
• Proficient use of Microsoft office tools
• Experience in data entry, filing, labeling, retrieving, and preserving records.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be willing to work a few hours on Saturdays.
