    Chief Mate DPO AHTS DP II M/F

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Chief Mate assists Master and would assume command in the event of the Master absence. Chief Officers may act as Safety Officers as well as Watch duties they will also perform appraisals on the Deck Officers.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assist the Master and learn all aspects of ships command with a view to eventual promotion
    • Act as the ship’s Safety Officer as and when required
    • Committed to Safety and Company Procedures in all tasks
    • Allocate and ensure that all duties appertaining to deck department are carried out in a safe and efficient manner

    Area of Operations:

    • Qatar

    Rotation (in average):

    • 70 days on/off

    Qualifications, Skills and Experiences
    Our minimum certificates requirements:

    • Chief Mate license unlimited (STCW A-II/2)
    • DPO unlimited certificate
    • FRC certificate preferred
    • NOC Approved preferred

    Our minimum experience requirements:

    • 12  months seatime in rank on AHTS/TUG
    • DP Kongsberg experience
    • 2 Rig Moves/Towing
    • 1 Anchor Handling Operation project

    Candidate Criteria:

    • Minimum level of education required: 6 - Other
    • Minimum level of experience required: 1-2 years
    • Licenses (seafearers only):
      • A-IV/2_GMDSS radio personnel
      • Chief Mate Unlimited (A-II/2)
    • Languages: English (4 - Professional ++++)

    Chief Engineer - AHTS PSV M / F

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible to the Master for the safe and efficient operation of all machinery.
    • Committed to Safety and Company Procedures in all tasks
    • Responsible to the Technical Manager at head office for the planned maintenance of all machinery and inventory of spare parts and of Dry Dock job list preparation, as per company regulations.
    • All Maintenance tasks are fully planned using Task Assistant software program which shall be kept permanently updated
    • Complete monthly condition reports on vital equipment
    • Samples analysis management
    • Ensure   that   all   anti-pollution   precautions   are   undertaken   whilst   transferring   or   loading hydrocarbons
    • Responsible to the Master for correctly filling in the Oil Record Book part I and/or II as applicable to ship design.

    Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

    • DP maintenance course

    • Diesel electric experience
    • NOC approved (preferred)

    • Minimum level of experience required: 1-2 years
    • Licenses (seafearers only): Chief Engineer Unlimited (A-III/2)
    • Languages: English (4 - Professional ++++)

    Second Mate, DPO AHTS DP II M/F

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Second Mate is third in command of the vessel and a watch keeping officer. Their responsibility lies in the safe and efficient voyage and navigation of the vessel.
    • In some cases the Second Officer acts as the Safety Officer ensuring the compliance of the vessel operations with regards to international regulations and company requirements.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Receive and provide necessary written instructions  from and to the other  Deck Officer
    • Is Conversant with the vessel maneuvering and bridge equipment + the vessel DP system including  its functions, the manuals and procedures.
    • Aware of the DP Plan Maintenance 
    • Communicate and report to the Master any deficiency, incident or event that may potentially impact the vessel operations (including DP operations)
    • Participate in emergency and DP emergency response trainings. 
    • Committed to Safety and Company Procedures in all task

    • DPO unlimited certificate

    • DP Kongsberg experience
    • 2 Rig moves/Towing
    • 1 Anchor Handling Operation project

    Candidate Criteria:

    • Minimum level of education required: 6 - Other
    • Minimum level of experience required: 1-2 years
    • Licenses (seafearers only):
      • A-IV/2_GMDSS radio personnel
      • Deck Officer of the Watch Unlimited (A-II/1)
    • Languages: English (Maritime English)
    • Type of vessel: AHTS
