    CCTV Operator

    Location: No. 1 Akaka Road, Ode Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria
    Employment Type: Full-Time

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a vigilant, technically skilled, and detail-oriented CCTV Operator to monitor and manage the company\'s surveillance systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring CCTV cameras, identifying and reporting security incidents, maintaining surveillance records, and ensuring effective coverage of the company\'s facilities.

    The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of engineering and industrial environments, including basic understanding of electrical systems, networking, CCTV equipment, and technical infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems continuously to detect suspicious activities, safety hazards, unauthorized access, or security breaches.
    • Monitor critical areas including production facilities, warehouses, workshops, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter zones.
    • Operate and monitor CCTV recording, playback, zoom, camera positioning, and other surveillance functions.
    • Identify and immediately report security incidents, accidents, equipment failures, and unusual activities to the Security Supervisor.
    • Maintain accurate daily CCTV monitoring logs and incident reports.
    • Retrieve and preserve relevant CCTV footage when required for investigations.
    • Ensure cameras, monitors, recording systems, and other surveillance equipment remain operational.
    • Conduct basic checks on CCTV equipment, cabling, power supply, network connections, and related technical components.
    • Liaise with Engineering, IT, Facilities, and Security teams when technical faults or equipment failures occur.
    • Monitor alarm and access-control systems where applicable.
    • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of surveillance footage and security information.
    • Report blind spots, damaged cameras, poor image quality, or other surveillance deficiencies.
    • Assist in security investigations by providing relevant footage and observations.
    • Follow all company security, safety, confidentiality, and data-protection procedures.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Security Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2–3 years\' experience as a CCTV Operator, Security Control Room Operator, Surveillance Officer, or similar role.
    • Good knowledge of engineering and technical systems is required.
    • Practical knowledge of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR systems, IP cameras, access-control systems, and basic networking.
    • Basic understanding of electrical wiring, power systems, cabling, and troubleshooting will be an advantage.
    • Ability to identify technical faults and escalate them appropriately.
    • Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Excellent observation, concentration, communication, and reporting skills.
    • Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays when required.
    • High level of integrity, confidentiality, alertness, and professionalism.

    Security Supervisor

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a disciplined, experienced, and technically minded Security Supervisor to oversee security operations within our automobile manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will supervise security personnel, monitor access control and surveillance systems, coordinate emergency responses, and ensure the protection of company personnel, facilities, vehicles, equipment, and assets.

    The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of engineering and industrial environments, particularly in relation to manufacturing facilities, machinery, electrical systems, safety infrastructure, and facility security.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel across the facility.
    • Develop and enforce security procedures for the protection of employees, visitors, equipment, vehicles, and company property.
    • Monitor access and exit points, visitor movement, staff identification, and vehicle entry and exit.
    • Operate and monitor CCTV, alarm systems, access-control systems, and other security technologies.
    • Conduct regular security inspections of buildings, production areas, warehouses, workshops, perimeter fences, and other facilities.
    • Identify security risks associated with machinery, electrical installations, production equipment, fuel systems, and other engineering infrastructure.
    • Work closely with the Engineering, HSE, Facilities, and Operations teams to identify and address safety and security vulnerabilities.
    • Coordinate emergency responses to incidents such as fire outbreaks, unauthorized access, accidents, theft, vandalism, and other security threats.
    • Prepare security reports, incident reports, daily occurrence records, and periodic security assessments.
    • Investigate security incidents and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
    • Supervise security contractors and ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
    • Conduct security briefings, drills, and awareness sessions for security personnel.
    • Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of security equipment and systems.
    • Liaise with relevant law enforcement and emergency agencies when necessary.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company operations, personnel, assets, and security information.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor\'s Degree, HND, or OND in Security Management, Engineering, Criminology, Industrial Safety, Risk Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years\' relevant experience in security operations, preferably within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or corporate environment.
    • Previous experience in a security supervisory or managerial position is required.
    • Strong knowledge of engineering and industrial facility operations is highly desirable.
    • Good understanding of CCTV, access control, alarm systems, perimeter security, and other security technologies.
    • Knowledge of occupational health and safety and emergency response procedures.
    • Strong leadership, communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage security teams and coordinate multiple security activities.
    • High level of integrity, discipline, confidentiality, and professionalism.
    • Security, HSE, engineering, or risk-management certifications will be an added advantage.
    • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
