Key Responsibilities

• Door Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain door handles, cylinders, and engines to ensure proper functionality and security.
• Building Framework Construction: Construct and install building frameworks, including windows, walls, floors, and door frames, ensuring precise measurements and durable construction.
• Carry out structural alterations, including building or dismantling partitions and wooden frameworks.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on existing wooden structures and fittings.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment requirements in all tasks.

Relevant work experience / Qualification:

• NABTEB / Trade Test qualification in Carpentry or a related field.
• 3 - 6 years of proven experience as a Carpenter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and building codes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair a variety of ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency.
• Execute precise installation, including gas welding, for Split AC units.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and installation activities.
• Operate chillers, air handling units, chilled water pumps, split air-conditioning units, and package units to ensure effective cooling, while maintaining accurate operational logs.
• Adhere to safety procedures related to maintenance and engineering activities.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possession of a Higher National Diploma (HND), Ordinary National Diploma (OND), or a recognized Trade Test Certification.
• 3-6 years of practical work experience as an AC technician or in a similar HVAC-related role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in working with diverse HVAC systems, including air conditioners, refrigerator units, and heating pump systems.
• Strong practical skills in connecting pipes, precise copper pipe brazing, and effective duct insulation.
