    Business Development Officer

    Summary

    • The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for the company's real estate property and investment portfolio.
    • This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional with a deep understanding of the real estate market, strong networking skills, and the ability to close high-value deals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new business opportunities, and untapped markets in the real estate and investment sector
    • Generate quality leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, online platforms, and partnerships; build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, investors, and corporate partners to enhance business growth and client retention.
    • Negotiate and close sales of residential, commercial, and investment properties; ensure all transactions comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with corporate organisations, financial institutions, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to expand the company's market presence.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitch decks to prospective clients and investors; articulate the value proposition of the company's properties and investment opportunities.
    • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets; develop and implement strategies to drive sales and investment inflows.
    • Advise clients on property investment opportunities, market trends, and portfolio diversification strategies to maximise returns.
    • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, lead generation, conversion rates, market intelligence, and business development progress for management review.
    • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate business leads.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications in Real Estate or Sales/Marketing are an added advantage.
    • A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in business development, property sales, or investment sales within the real estate and investment industry.
    • Deep understanding of the Nigerian real estate market, property valuation, investment analysis, and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; strong ability to build relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals, corporate clients, and institutional investors.
    • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and property listing platforms; familiarity with digital marketing and social media for lead generation.
    • Goal‑oriented, self‑motivated, resilient, and able to  work under pressure; strong organisational and time management skills; valid driver's licence and willingness to travel for client meetings.

    Corporate Driver

    Job Summary

    • The Corporate Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services for company executives, staff, clients, and guests.
    • This role requires a highly responsible, punctual, and courteous individual with a strong knowledge of road networks, traffic regulations, and vehicle maintenance.
    • The Corporate Driver also supports administrative and logistical functions as required.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Safely transport company executives, staff, clients, investors, and business partners to and from designated locations, including meetings, site inspections, airports, and corporate events.
    • Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition at all times; perform routine checks on oil, water, tyres, brakes, lights, and other essential components; report any mechanical issues promptly.
    • Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and regulations; drive defensively to ensure the safety of passengers and the vehicle at all times.
    • Keep accurate records of vehicle usage, including daily mileage logs, trip reports, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules; ensure vehicle insurance, roadworthiness, and other statutory documents are up to date.
    • Monitor fuel levels and ensure timely refuelling; manage fuel consumption efficiently and report any irregularities.
    • Provide courteous and professional reception services to clients and guests upon arrival; assist with luggage and other needs as required.
    • Run official errands, including collection and delivery of documents, parcels, and supplies to and from external parties.
    • Ensure the vehicle is securely locked when not in use; adhere to all company security protocols and report any suspicious activities.
    • Assist the Administration Department with vehicle-related logistics for events, site visits, and other activities.
    • Immediately report any accidents, near-misses, or traffic violations to the Administrative Manager and assist in documenting incident reports.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Educational Qualifications: Minimum of a West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE) or equivalent; additional certification in driving or logistics is an added advantage.
    • Driving License: Valid Nigerian Driver's License with appropriate class (minimum of Class B and C); a clean driving record with no history of serious traffic offences.
    • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a corporate or professional driver in a reputable organisation, preferably in the real estate, investment, or financial services industry.
    • Knowledge of Road Networks: Excellent knowledge of Lagos and/or Abuja road networks, traffic patterns, and alternative routes; ability to navigate using maps and GPS devices.
    • Vehicle Maintenance Knowledge: Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics, including the ability to perform routine checks and identify potential issues before they escalate.
    • Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills in English; ability to interact professionally with executives, clients, and colleagues.
    • Personal Attributes: High level of punctuality, reliability, integrity, and discretion; professional appearance and demeanour; ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing schedules.
