    Business Development Executive

    Job Responsibilities

    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify publishing industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging growth opportunities.
    • Analyze market data, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform and refine business development strategies.
    • Identify and generate new business leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital marketing campaigns.
    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients, partners, and collaborators.
    • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing clients, publishing partners, and key stakeholders.
    • Understand client needs in the publishing sector and provide customized solutions to help them achieve their objectives.
    • Deliver persuasive sales presentations, pitches, and proposals to potential clients or partners.
    • Effectively showcase the company’s publishing products, services, and unique value propositions.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, book fairs, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and foster relationships.
    • Ensure all business development activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Identify and manage potential risks associated with new business initiatives and partnerships within the publishing industry.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
    • 1-2 years of experience in business development, preferably in the financial services industry.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
    • Excellent customer service skills and a proactive approach to relationship building.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools is an advantage.

    Procurement Supervisor

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
    • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier improvements.
    • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers.
    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve favorable outcomes.
    • Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, delivery, and compliance standards are met.
    • Oversee daily purchasing activities, including requisitions, purchase orders, and inventory replenishment.
    • Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.
    • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and inventory levels.
    • Continuously evaluate procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
    • Collaborate with finance to prepare and manage procurement budgets.
    • Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
    • Mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions by developing contingency plans.
    • Supervise and mentor procurement staff, fostering professional development and teamwork.
    • Set performance goals and regularly evaluate team performance.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 6+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • Proven experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.
    • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and ERP systems.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
    • Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
