• This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Associate at Zylus Group International.
• The Associate will be responsible for lead generation, market research, creating and delivering presentations, and effective communication. While the role is primarily based in Lagos, there is flexibility for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Tasks: Ensure safe and timely delivery of packages to customers or businesses in Surulere and nearby areas.
• Route Optimization: Plan efficient delivery routes to reduce time and increase productivity.
• Package Care: Handle all packages with care to prevent damage during transit.
• Delivery Documentation: Accurately document all deliveries, including obtaining proof of delivery when necessary.
• Customer Relations: Provide exceptional customer service with polite and professional interactions during deliveries.
• Bike Upkeep: Conduct routine maintenance checks on the delivery motorcycle to keep it in good working order.
• Traffic Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe delivery operations.
• Communication: Keep the dispatch team informed about delivery progress and report any issues encountered.
• Safety Measures: Follow all safety protocols to minimize accidents and injuries.
• Issue Resolution: Resolve any delivery-related challenges or issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• A valid rider’s license and required local riding documents.
• Proven experience as a dispatch rider or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Lagos Road networks.
• Ability to use GPS or maps for navigation.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Good physical fitness and endurance.
• A clean driving record.
