General objectives

Issues and specifics challenges

• Dynamic to initiate with changes in the staffing / All sub-bases are accessible but with limited access, which implies remote management most of the time

Priorities on the 2-3 first months

• Ensure elaboration of Procurement Plan Table for the new projects / Overview opening of new base, based on funding perspectives / Strengthening the Logistic monitoring of Regional bases and sub-bases / Optimize 2025 Country Logistic planification.

Education:

• Bachelor or masters in a related degree: Logistics, Transport, Warehousing, IT, Supply Chain, Management

General objectives:

• The Country Director is Solidarités International’s ofÏcial representative in the country. He is in charge of the management of the mission, which includes security overview, operations monitoring and ensuring financial stability of the mission.

Issues and specific challenges:

• Security overview to supervise operations in sensitive areas / Donor Fatigue with a global trends of funding decrease / Transition to absorb with new staff dynamic

Priorities for the 2/3 first months :

• Define operational dimensionning in term of staffing and area of operation, based on the outcome of the proposal season

Security constraints

• No walk policy everywhere in the country / Security situation calm in Abuja, level 3 in Maiduguri, level 4 in sub-bases

Other:

• Based in Abuja, with periodic presence in Maiduguri (where the coordination is), and occasional field visits

Education:

• Bachelor or masters in a related degree: Logistics, Transport, Warehousing, IT, Supply Chain, Management

Experience:

• EXPERIMENT IN THE HUMANITARIAN SECTOR: +5 years
• EXPERIMENT ON SIMILAR POSITIONS: 3-4 years
