This position will report to the Head of Finance in the State. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and processing vendor invoices at the State. S/He will assist to produce project budget monitoring reports, assist to conduct monthly reconciliation of all project bank accounts and financial transactions. S/He will provide support in a wide range of day-to-day office administration activities including assets maintenance, local procurement activities for office consumables, and project fleet management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must possess a first degree (BSc/HND) in Accounting or any related field. ACA/ACCA and/or Master’s degree is an added advantage.  
• Must possess a minimum of three (3) years post-NYSC working experience
• Must possess a broad knowledge of accounting software packages like Quickbooks.
• Must possess excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision. 
• Must possess a high level of integrity and responsibility.

Reporting to the General Manager (GM), this position oversees the duties of finance and accounts for the laboratory and diagnostic centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial information, purchases and preparing financial reports, keeping assets records, and reconciling budget and expenses within the organization.

• S/He will be responsible for instituting standard and general accounting procedures suitable for a medical laboratory.
• Maintain detailed, accurate up-to-date budget information and general operations to inform decision making.
• S/He will prepare billings and review invoices and vouchers for the release of funds.
• Ensure maximum compliance of tax laws, especially for PAYE and withholding taxes in all purchases. 

  Qualifications and Experience:

• Must possess a first degree or its equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
• A Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Admin, or Finance with a professional certification of ICAN or ACCA will be added adavantage.
• Must possess a minimum of 4-5 years post-NYSC working experience with at least three (3) years of experience in a private medical laboratory.
• Knowledge in medical laboratory billing & invoicing systems, commercial negotiations, financial management, internal controls/systems development, accounting, auditing, and reporting.
• Must be conversant with all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent financial standards, rules, and regulations relating to good financial management.
• Ability to solve problems, exercising good judgment will be an asset.
• Must be of good character with proven impeccable integrity.
