Duties

• Oversee the effective management and safety concerns when it comes to daily operations.
• Make sure that the staff adheres strictly to the company’s standing order procedure.
• Ensure compliance of applicable policies and regulations while implementing security measures.
• Liaise with the emergency services, police, ambulance and fire service to resolve issues and maintain security and service.
• Maintain relationship with local, state and federal law enforcement and other related government agencies.
• Develop risk management assessments.
• Investigate security breaches and undertake investigations into reports of offences.
• Develop and implement preventative measures against accidents, thefts and other risks.
• Maintain all security devices and products in good working condition.
• Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and other recording systems.
• Keep the premises free from all kinds of dangers.
• Provide security to office staff, visitors, buildings and properties.
• Control the entry and exit of vehicles.
• Check and validate business visitor credentials.
• Make sure that no unauthorized personnel enter restricted areas.
• Make sure that there’s proper clearance for all items coming in and out of the premises.
• Arrange all the shifts, weekly offs, leaves for security officers.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Security or equivalent.
• 7-8 years of proven work experience in the field of Security. Previous background as military or police officer would be a plus.
• Security certifications from government (Military or Police) or any International Security Institution is a plus.

Remuneration
N150,000 - N180,000 Monthly.

Job Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
• Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)
• Install and maintain water supply systems
• Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
• Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.
• Install waste disposal and sanitary systems

Job Requirements and Skills

• Minimum of OND in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of Five (5) years proven experience as a plumber
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
• Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces.
