    Accountant

    Job Description

    • Accountant: is responsible for accounting in the Head and State Offices, ensuring compliance with the contractual financial requirements of the project.
    • S/he will assist the Finance Manager to ensure the accurate keeping of all books of account for the project, including checking account, equipment and supply registers and all accounting records.
    • Work with the Senior Program Officer to lead the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, including financial status of sub-project account activities with accompanying bank documentation and receipts.
    • Assist the Senior Program Officer and Finance Manager in monitoring sub-project budgets in accordance with approved work plan activities.
    • Monitor periodic expenditures of projects by analyzing financial data and producing periodic and ad hoc reports.
    • Work with the Finance Manager to provide support with the accounting workflow in the review and audit of project reports for reimbursement of expenditures and function as support for processing cash advances, retirements, petty cash management and refunds made in favor of AHNi.

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    • BS / BA Degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 4 to 6 years relevant experience

    Technical Officer - Teacher' Education

    Job Description

    • The Technical Officer - Teachers’ Education will be responsible for supporting development and roll- out of teacher professional development and strengthening of school leadership.

    Technical Assistant - Procurement, Supply & Logistics

    Job Description

    • Will provide support in the planning, implementing, and monitoring of health systems strengthening and sustainability initiatives in assigned projects.
    • S/he will also provide technical support to the state’s efforts to strengthen the procurement and supply chain management system of health commodities using evidence-based data from the logistics management information system, to reduce stock-outs, lower costs and eliminate wastage.

    Assistant Technical Officer - Prevention, Care & Treatment

    Job Description

    • Will provide technical support at state level to implement high quality care, treatment, and support activities with primary focus on HIV/AIDS programs.
    • Support the optimization of ART service delivery at the various LGAs and track ART coverage of service provided in the various LGAs of service delivery at ACE supported facilities to minimize missed opportunities.

    Job Description

    Senior Compliance Officer

    Job Description

    • The SCO will ensure compliance with AHNi and funder policies, procedures, the management and reduction of general risk to the organization.
    • S/he will carry out independent appraisals of the effectiveness of policies, procedures and standards by which AHNi’s financial resources are managed.
    • S/he will review and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, reliability of financial reporting, compliance with applicable laws and the safeguard of assets.
    • S/he will plan, perform and report back on internal audits to ensure that financial control, financial guidelines of funder organizations and other control procedures in purchasing, procurement and contracting are in place and are being properly implemented and managed within AHNi offices.

    Technical Officer - Pediatrics / Adolescent Care & Treatment

    Job Description

    • Will focus on optimizing pediatric and adolescent HIV Care & Treatment service delivery through the provision of second- and third-line ART and ensure smooth implementation of ACE’s role in pediatric and adolescent HIV service delivery.
    • S/He will work very closely with facility-based health workers, State Ministries of Health, Community based organizations and relevant Stakeholders.
    • Provide technical assistance at supported HIV treatment facilities to achieve epidemic control by reaching the UNAIDS’ 95-95-95 goal in children and adolescents living with HIV, support scale up of evidence-based strategies in accordance with the UNICEF service delivery framework in supported states and health facilities.
    • S/He will also perform quality of care assessment and ensure that children and adolescents living with HIV (CALHIV) in all supported health facilities receive high quality comprehensive ART services in accordance with National Treatment guidelines, support uptake of differentiated models of care and treatment for CALHIV in order to improve treatment outcomes and create efficiencies, including multi-month drug refills, use of community structures, etc.

    Technical Officer - Monitoring & Evaluation

    Job Description

    • The Ideal candidate will provide technical oversight for designing, developing, planning, implementation and capacity-building of monitoring and evaluation of assigned unit level programs, provide quality technical assistance to assigned State programs, provide desk and on-site monitoring and evaluation oversight to assigned States and participate in resource development and other report writing on assigned activities.

    • Will provide technical support to implement high quality care and support activities with primary focus on tuberculosis control and treatment as well as all issues surrounding TBHIV co-infection.

    Deputy Director - Strategic Information

    Job Description

    • With the supervision of the DME, the DD-SI will lead in the design, development and implementation of the project’s SI and database functions including all systematic data analysis process of data outputs from the electronic information systems, carrying out advanced data analysis and preparing data analysis products for presentation and reporting.
    • S/he will provide technical leadership and support to strengthen monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and performance reporting within the targeted geographic area, which may include building capacity of community organizations and other stakeholders to monitor, document and analyze the performance of their HIV services and activities and ensure data quality.

    • Previous experience working with USAID or PEPFAR-supported programs including familiarity with USAID M&E reporting requirements.
    • Demonstrated ability to be the technical specialist and as the lead subject matter expert in monitoring and evaluation.
