    Account Analyst

    Job Description

    • The finance analyst will play a key role in supporting the finance department by ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely financial reporting, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
    • The role provides an excellent opportunity for learning and growth in accounting practices and financial management.
    • In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the company’s activities and report directly to the Head of Department.

    Responsibilities
    Financial Record-Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting software.
    • Post journal entries and assist in the preparation of trial balances.
    • Manage and reconcile bank statements and companies’ accounts.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure account requirements and expectations are met.
    • Review and approve account-related documentation and transactions.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of all account activities and communications.

    Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare periodic financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to management.

    Compliance and Audit Support:

    • Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
    • Assist with external and internal audit preparation.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the company’s processes.
    • Ensure compliance with all Nigerian financial regulations, as well as standards set by bodies such as the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN) and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
    • Guarantee that financial statements meet both local and international standards.

    Other Duties:

    • Maintain and organize financial documentation.
    • Collaborate with other departments for financial data.
    • Provide support for special projects as required

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) in progress is an advantage.
    • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
    • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
    • Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities.

    Senior Business Analyst

    About the Role

    • The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for end-to-end technical analysis, systems design support, and coordination of software lifecycle activities.
    • This role bridges the gap between functional business needs and technical implementation, ensuring high-quality system delivery through structured requirements engineering, process modeling, API documentation, and testing coordination.
    • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with development teams, system architects, and DevOps, and will leverage AI-based tools to enhance technical documentation, prototyping, and validation.
    • The role involves leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders to drive successful project execution.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct technical stakeholder sessions to gather, validate, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Define and manage system-level specifications including user stories, sequence diagrams, state transition diagrams, and data dictionaries.
    • Lead a cross-functional team of business analysts, designers, and engineers.
    • Collaborate with developers and solution architects to define technical scope and break down requirements into modular components.
    • Maintain and update system design documentation across sprints/releases.
    • Define data schemas, interface definitions, and endpoint documentation for REST/SOAP APIs.
    • Coordinate with backend developers and third-party service providers on integration flows and authentication protocols.
    • Model current state (as-is) and future state (to-be) business processes using BPMN/UML.
    • Recommend system enhancements based on gap analysis and bottleneck identification.
    • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Perform feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for proposed features or system changes.
    • Assess system impacts due to changes in architecture, data structure, or third-party dependencies
    • Support DevOps and QA by coordinating test environment readiness, deployment schedules, and rollback planning.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance or related fields.
    • 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Solution Analyst. With at least 2 years in a leadership role.
    • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification is an added advantage.
    • Strong understanding of: SDLC, Agile/Scrum, System architecture (microservices, event-driven, monolith), API standards (REST, JSON, XML, OAuth2), Database concepts (SQL/NoSQL).
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and system monitoring concepts is a plus
    • Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Draw.io/Lucidchart, Figma, Git, Jira, Confluence.
    • Working knowledge of APIs, databases, and modern web architecture is an added advantage
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
    • Excellent leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.

    Project & Finance Analyst

    Job Description

    • The project and finance analyst is a key member of the Advisory team.
    • The Project and Finance Analyst will work closely with project team to analyze project financials, monitor budget adherence, provide financial insights, and support decision-making processes.
    • The role will involve collaboration with various stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct financial analysis on project budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
    • Identify trends, patterns, and potential risks related to project finances.
    • Prepare regular financial reports, including variance analysis, forecasting, and budget tracking.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and scenario analysis.
    • Conduct comparable analysis, market research and industrial analysis.

    • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects.
    • Collaborate with project teams to develop project budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Support the development of accurate financial forecasts and projections.
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Review project documentation to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
    • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to project teams and management.
    • Communicate financial insights, trends, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain project financial dashboards.
    • Provide recommendations for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
    • Experience in finance or project management, preferably in the investment or finance will be an added advantage.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge of financial principles, methodologies, and tools.
    • Knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis using Microsoft software.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial data.
    • Effective communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
