Pros: Working with Niger Delta university is quite interesting. It provides one the opportunity to be up and doing both in terms of tasking your skills as a professional teacher in dealing with very large classroom teaching/learning situations and other official responsibilities that maybe assigned to you. In addition great emphasis is also placed on continuous research and seminars considering education at the global level. Working with Niger Delta university is really great.
Cons: Despite the interesting opportunities available at the Niger Delta university the fact is that infrastructure and educational facilities is quite inadequate. Faculty buildings and offices for lecturers are inadequate. The environment needs to be well taken care of to include more recreational facilities for both students and lectures. There is need for accommodation for lecturers and other staff of the school as it is quite inadequate.
