The Federal University of Agriculture, Bassambiri (FUAB) was established by an Executive Act of the Federal Government in April, 2023. It is a specialized University located in Bassambiri in the Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. It was created by the Federal Government as part of its man... read moredate to have a University of Agriculture in each of the six geo-political zones of the country. FUAB links teaching and research to the Niger Delta’s rich agricultural and marine resources. Academic activities commence in the 2025/2026 session with a student-centred, hands-on learning model aligned to NUC standards.
