PolDeC was originally set up as The Homebuilders Foundation, a community based organisation committed to promoting and protecting family health in July 1999. The scope was however expanded in 2005 to accommodate broader development issues. Vision A development policy resource and reference center that is a positive development catalyst; and an active participant in Nigeria’s development process. Mission Statement Providing relevant development policy advocacy; development policy training; innovative development initiatives as well as intellectual capital; promoting focused, appropriate sustainable human and national development in addition to mobilizing resources nationally and internationally for the sustainable development of Nigeria PolDeC is a strong institution pioneering unlimited development possibilities through expanding limitless development opportunities and options to further expand sustainable livelihoods opportunities and options for sustainable and unlimited African development possibilities as well as global development possibilities unlimited.
