Job Description

• Create an aesthetically supportive learning environment that fosters inquiry, creativity, critical thinking, and independence, ensuring learners meet their learning goals.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects.
• Identify learners with special needs and develop individualized learning plans where necessary.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to suit learners’ interests and learning styles.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff and school administrators to promote best practices in teaching and learning.
• Monitor learners’ academic and social development and set achievable targets for improvement.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with learners, parents, and colleagues.
• Track learners’ progress through assignments and examinations and provide timely, constructive feedback.

Requirements

• B.Ed in a relevant discipline (M.Sc is an added advantage).
• Proven experience as a Yoruba Teacher, preferably in an international school.
• Sound knowledge of various teaching methodologies.
• Deep understanding of the Nigerian Curriculum.
• Patient, resilient, and learner-focused personality.
• Strong dedication to pupils and a genuine passion for education.
• High level of ICT competency.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong organizational ability.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
