• Achievers University, Owo, invites applications from suitably qualified, innovative and experienced candidates for the position of Webmaster. The successful candidate will manage and improve the University's website and designated digital platforms to ensure security, accessibility, accuracy, reliability and a strong institutional image.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage, update and maintain the University's website and designated social platforms.
• Publish approved news, announcements, academic information and multimedia content promptly.
• Ensure fast, accessible, responsive and cross- browser website performance.
• Implement security controls, backups and monitoring against vulnerabilities, malicious. activity, spam, unauthorised access and defacement.
• Develop web pages, microsites, portals, online forms and other approved digital solutions.
• Apply search engine optimisation and analytics to strengthen visibility and prepare periodic performance reports.
• Collaborate with Corporate Affairs, ICT and other units to ensure accurate, current and brand- consistent content.
• Provide technical support for digital
• communication initiatives and perform related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering. Web Development or a related discipline.
• Demonstrable experience in website design, development and administration, supported by a strong portfolio.
• Relevant professional certification and experience in a tertiary institution or similarly structured organisation will be added advantages.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, WordPress or related content management systems, PHP, Python, MySQL, web frameworks, hosting, domain and server administration, website security, backup and recovery, SEO, analytics, multimedia optimisation and technical troubleshooting. The candidate must also demonstrate sound writing, teamwork, attention to detail and deadline management.
