Web Full-Stack Developer at LEAD Enterprise Support Company Limited

Job Description: 

Our client (a Microfinance Bank) is seeking a Web Full-Stack Developer ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries. This person will have complete, end-to-end ownership of projects. The ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages. 

Objectives of this role:

• Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth.
• Develop new features and infrastructure to support rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
• Assume leadership of new projects, from conceptualization to deployment.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design.
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
• Architect and guide building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale.
• Work primarily in Ruby, Java/JRuby, React, and JavaScript.
• Engage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with leading back-end engineers to create reliable APIs.
• Collaborate across time zones via Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent video conferences. 

Job Requirements: 

1. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in building large-scale software applications.
3. Professional certification is an advantage.
4. Interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies.
5. Experience in building web applications.
6. Knowledge of Ruby, Java/JRuby, React, and JavaScript.
7. Excellent debugging and optimization skills
8. Experience in unit/integration testing.
