Web Developer / Programming at Mitiget Assurance and Technology Services Limited

Responsibilities

• Website and software application designing, building, hosting, administration, and maintaining.
• Directing or performing website updates and administration for Mitiget and its clients.
• Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device type issues.
• Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming, digital marketing, social media practices through education and research.
• Maintaining high availability for website hosting platforms including back up services and website recoveries.
• Resolving software, website, and technical issues withing 48-hour turnaround time.
• Ensuring best practices in coding - valid, secure, properly structured - and compatibility with browsers, devices, and operating systems.
• Engaging stakeholders to analyse technical requirements for all systems projects.
• Driving website optimization and SEOs for Mitiget and other stakeholders.
• Overseeing day-to-day management of social media campaigns and ensure lead generation, brand awareness and consistency through all channels.
• Maintaining digital dashboard of all the online accounts, monitor key metrics to track lead generation success. E.g., setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs including adoption of analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others.
• Preparing email campaigns to drive traffic on our website and social media, to generate leads and for a positive customer feedback and engage all aspects of social media interactions.
• Creating and implementing actionable plans for high-quality novel written and visual contents, to both grow and maintain followers/leads in platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Google My Business, Pinterest, YouTube, Tiktok, Instagram, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn and running company social media advertising campaigns on them.
• Creating and maintaining online listings across e-commerce and directory platforms.
• Facilitating learnings for stakeholders in conjunction with the training team.
• Attending to other tasks that may be assigned to you from time to time in line with Mitiget’s set objectives.
