Wealth Manager at Koins Microfinance Bank

Role Description

• This is a full-time hybrid role for a Wealth Manager, based in Lagos, Nigeria, with flexibility for partial remote work. The Wealth Manager will be responsible for assisting clients in achieving their financial goals through comprehensive financial planning and investment strategies. The role also involves building and maintaining strong client relationships to drive financial growth for both clients and the organization. To mobilize deposits, manage high-value client relationships, drive investment product sales, and support the bank’s liability growth strategy.

KPI’S FOR THE AFOREMENTIONED ROLE:

• Achieve 100% of monthly deposit mobilization target of 100m in monthly net growth
• Manage cost of funds within the approved limits
• Identify, prospect, and onboard High Net-worth Individuals (HNIs), corporates, and institutional clients for deposit mobilization.
• Promote and structure Fixed Deposit, Savings, and Investment products in line with bank pricing and risk guidelines.
• Maintain strong, professional client relationships through regular engagement and portfolio reviews.
• Prepare and present investment proposals, indicative offers, and term sheets to clients.
• Track market interest rates and competitor offerings to support pricing decisions.
• Ensure proper documentation, KYC compliance, and adherence to internal credit and risk policies.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly liability mobilization targets.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Compliance to ensure seamless transaction processing.
• Prepare weekly/monthly business development performance reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma in Finance, Economics, Business or related field. 
• Minimum of 2–5 years experience in deposit mobilization/wealth management (preferably in MFB, commercial bank, asset management or investment finance). 
• Strong existing network of HNIs and corporate clients. 
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Strong understanding of investment products, treasury, and market rates.
