    Wealth Manager

    Role Description

    • The Wealth Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos State, Nigeria.
    • This role involves advising clients on financial planning, investment options, and wealth-building strategies aligned with their business and personal objectives.
    • The Wealth Manager will meet with micro-entrepreneur clients, assess their financial needs, design tailored financial plans, and recommend appropriate savings, investment, and insurance solutions.
    • Daily responsibilities include monitoring client portfolios, conducting market and product research, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
    • The role also includes collaborating with other bank teams to enhance client experience, delivering financial education, and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with clients.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning and Finance to assess client needs and develop comprehensive wealth strategies.
    • Candidates should possess expertise in Investment Management and Investments to construct, monitor, and optimize client portfolios.
    • Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance products to help clients manage risk and protect assets.
    • Candidates should possess solid analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment.
    • Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain financial concepts clearly and build long-term client relationships.
    • Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; professional certifications in wealth management or financial planning are an advantage.
    • Experience in banking, microfinance, or financial advisory services, particularly with small business or retail clients, is highly beneficial.
    • Ability to work on-site in Lagos State, Nigeria, manage multiple client portfolios, and adhere to ethical standards and regulatory guidelines.
