Job Description

• General maintenance of the cocoa beans warehouse store.
• Take general stock of the raw beans being supplied to the warehouse.
• Count bags and confirm quantity supplied to the warehouse.
• Measure the general weight vis-a-vis gross weight, net weight, average weight, total number of graded raw cocoa bags, total tones of each consignment being supplied to the warehouse.
• Taking stock of total number of raw cocoa beans being supplied to the beans feeding section for further processing.
• Taking note of daily activities in the warehouse.
• Monitor, label and properly arrange bags on pallets.
• Secure warehouse always; doors doubly locked, windows protected, and all items are secured including restricting unauthorized access into the warehouse.
• Flag any security loophole, electrical or mechanical defect that may affect warehouse operations or security.
• Follow standard operating procedures in the warehouse and ensure safety equipment are always worn and functional including fire extinguishers
• Properly record all warehouse incidences
• Ensure that all doors are doubly locked, windows have security steel grills, attractive and valuable items are well secured, security guards and lights are always operational, control access into the warehouse.
• Comply with policy of First in First Out (FIFO) for cocoa supplies to minimize the level of expiries in the medical warehouse.
• Maintain an updated and complete warehouse records, Quantities received, stored, and dispatched must match with records, Bin cards and stock cards are fully completed and updated, materials are in good condition and correctly stored, maintain a good record of item deliveries and issues.
• Prepare accurate and timely weekly and monthly reports, and send to line manager
• Maintain clear record of warehouse register, warehouse inspection reports, spot checks reports, discrepancy reports, disposal documentation/reports, delivery reports, waybills, store releases, stock cards, etc.
• Train bag stacker appropriately to comply with Standard Operating Policies in management of warehouse inventory.
• Correctly count all items, and right entries made, check documents for mathematical errors, address and report all cases of discrepancies.
• Other duties as advised by your supervisor.
• Achievement of product quality and Food Safety.
• Thorough cleaning and preventive maintenance activities on the machine to be carried out within the standard time.
• Efficient and proper operation of machine in term of machine availability, and the matching of speeds to the quality of materials inputs.
• To ensure all machine are operated according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations and inventory management
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse systems
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and identify areas of improvement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
