Warehouse Manager at PG Consulting Limited

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse operations to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for efficient and safe product handling.
• Implement and conduct periodic physical inventory verifications to maintain accurate stock records.
• Manage the timely receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound logistics.
• Maintain optimal stock levels to meet production and sales demands.
• Coordinate the loading of trucks according to sales orders, ensuring correct product selection and minimizing damage.
• Implement procedures to minimize stock breakage and product loss during storage and handling.
• Process necessary entries in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for accurate inventory control.
• Supervise warehouse staff, including drivers and loaders, to ensure efficient task completion.
• Utilize analytical problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks within the warehouse.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND or equivalent qualification in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Logistics).
• Minimum of 5 years of total experience with at least 3 years in a similar warehouse management role within the Building Materials Industry, preferably the Tiles Industry.
• Proven ability to ensure adherence to SOPs and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and best practices for efficient product handling.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and ERP systems is a plus.
