Warehouse Manager at Nutri K Limited

General objective 

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. He/she ensure warehouse operations comply with organizational standards, safety protocols, and Good Storage Practices, maintaining optimal inventory control and supporting business objectives.

RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS

1. Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch of goods, issuing of RM , receiving of FP & leak management activities
2. Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space and resources.
3. Develop and implement procedures for inventory management, stock control, and order fulfillment.
4. Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence.
5. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct periodic evaluations.
6. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork
7. Maintain accurate records of stock levels and reconcile discrepancies.
8. Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic inventory audits.
9. Ensure proper labelling and organization of inventory for easy access and traceability.
10. Enforce compliance with safety standards and protocols to minimize workplace risks.
11. Monitor proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials (if applicable).
12. Conduct safety training and drills for warehouse staff
13. Ensure adherence to Good Storage Practices (GSP) and company quality standards.
14. Monitor proper storage conditions for goods, especially perishable and temperature-sensitive items
15. Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline warehouse processes.
16. Implement automation and digital tools to improve inventory management and reporting. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.

REQUIERED SKILLS

1. Language skills – English is essential.
2. Education degree – Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
3. Work experience – Proven experience (5+ years) in warehouse management or a similar role.
4. Computer skills – MS Word, MS Excel & Outlook

Other required skills; 

1. Knowledge of inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory software.
